Das Haus hat ein gutes Ambiente und das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ruhig, aber dennoch zentrumsnah. Die Sauberkeit im Speiseraum lässt zu wünschen übrig (frische Flecken auf der Tischdecke). Die Betten sind wackelig. |

Gute Lage mit Blick auf Kathedrale und Park Das Hotel ist renovierungsbedürftig. Die Möbel sind abgwohnt und teilweise schadhaft. Das Zimmer war nur oberflächlich sauber. Die Badeinrichtung war teilweise kaputt. |

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön ausgestattet, groß genug, sehr moderne Sanitäreinrichtung, die gute Erreichbarkeit der Innenstadt von Salisbury zu Fuß, der herrliche Ausblick im Garten, Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter die wirklich wunderschöne Terrasse fristet ein Schattendasein mit ungemütlichen Sesseln, der Garten würde durch einige Sitzgelegenheiten unglaublich an Attraktivität gewinnen. |

Bildschönes Haus, malerisch bewachsen. Wunderschöner Garten direkt am Fluss. Zimmer ausreichend groß mit Blick auf die Kathedrale.Stilvolle, solide Einrichtung. Bad wie neu. |

Sehr angenehm am Stadtrand zum Flussufer gelegen, mit Blick zur Kathedrale. Romantischer Garten, absolut ruhig, sehr schönes Zimmer. Wir haben nichts gefunden, dass uns nicht gefallen hätte. Auch der Preis über Booking.com war in Ordnung. Eine höherer Preis würde trotz aller Vorzüge das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis unstimmig machen. Für mehr Geld gibt es mehr, was wir aber nicht anstreben. |

Der Rahmen des Hotels mit dem Garten ist toll, die Zimmer geräumig, die Nähe und Fussweg zum Zentrum der Stadt. Betten zu hart, Frühstück zu einfach für den Preis des Hotels |

The staff were friendly and helpful, location round the corner from Salisbury cathedral isn't bad either! Some variation in the evening set menu would be nice- on one evening the lamb appeared to be not fresh, otherwise the food was good. Overall, thanks for a lovely break. |

Good room with a lovely view. Clean and comfortable room with all the facilities you would need. Friendly staff and a good buffet style breakfast, with tea and toast provided almost immediately. Fuss free time. I think the bar either needs to go or to have a major update and as it doesn't seem to serve any purpose at the moment. And as there are so many good pubs within easy wakling distance, it needs a decision made on should it stay or should it go. Didn't affect my stay though. |

The room decor was comfortable and fitting with the setting. The bed-room was spacious and there was a pleasant view onto the front garden with no buildings in sight. There's also a beautiful view onto Salisbury Cathdral spire from the breakfast room. There was a reasonable choice for breakfast items. The bathroom was nicely finished and felt clean. Very short on the choice of wines by the glass, though I understand that the list is much fuller by the bottle. The receptionist was unsmilingly efficient on checked in, which I found quite off-putting, though I might have got her on a bad day after a visit to the dentist. The morning staff were much more welcoming, though. The beds, while OK, were more hard than firm and the shower itself was just that little bit too small so I was knocking my elbows on the walls (I'm very averagely built). No shelf space above the sink for one's washing things. |

The Staff try hard, but the food is mediocre, Some parts of the Hotel in need of renovation. Room was correct and clean. Reception area and passageways were dull and carpets old and used. Not a good image. |

The food in the hotel restaurant, the location was great for sightseeing and shopping, very scenic, beautiful garden. Only the fact drinks were a little pricey but no more than any other hotel. |

The hotel was in an outstanding setting with views of the water meadows and Salisbury Cathredral. It was a friendly place, with good food. Our bathroom was quite small but adaquate for a short stay. |

The lawn runs down to the river and there are views of the cathedral Staff not very friendly. Wash basin in room was cracked. Breakfast was poor. We got shut out in the back garden and could only get back in through the kitchen |

Nice gardens, location. Nice flowers on outside of hotel. Breakfast was fine apart from the budget value sausages. Bathroom was awful. Too small, nowhere to put toiletries or hang up towels. Toilet seat was loose. Paintwork & carpets looked worn in places. |

I stayed at this hotel with my wife for one night as I was singing at the nearby Wilton House on two consecutive evenings and didn't wish to drive back to London in between. The staff were excellent - very helpful and friendly and the standard of English was never a problem. The room was large, comfortable and very clean, with all the mod cons you would expect. We were informed on our arrival that there would be a wedding reception in the bar until 11pm, but in spite of our room being next to the bar there was no noise at all when we went to there at 10.30pm. It is about a mile away from the Cathedral and you can walk there avoiding the main roads. Plenty of parking. The dinner was of an excellent standard. Great place to stay. |
