Pateley Bridge is a beautiful little village with some lovely little shops. the fish and chip shop is worth a visit but closes at 7pm.
The location is great for visiting Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks and Ripon. Mallam Cove is a short drive away too for those who like a challenging walk. Lots of other walks to do too.

We visited to see the Nidderdale Agricultural Show.
We visited to see the Nidderdale Agricultural Show. Absolutely loved it. Local attractions include Fountains Abbey and Brimham Rocks both very child friendly. A variety of shops to investigate. Lots of local produce and a welcoming town.

Pateley Bridge is a small town in Nidderdale, which is a Yorkshire Dale possibly less visited than for example Swaledale, Wensleydale or Wharfdale. However, it is a perfect location for visiting some of the very interesting places nearby, Brimham Rocks and How Stean Gorge are two fine examples.
The town has decent facilities - two good pubs with good food offerings, a couple of restaurants, supermarket with cash machine, churches, small individual shops, nearby garden centres.

Pateley Bridge is a classical Yorkshire Village with excellent access to the surrounding countryside and a goog range of craft and food shops. Also low cost parking in the town and free parking within 100 metres of the high street
I am a well seasoned traveller and I must say, this is one of the best placed I stayed at. Margaret embodies the well know North Yorkshire welcome and make sure her guests are well taken care of. The cottage was clean with the necessary amenities to cook your own meals or enjoy the local goodnesses. It is well located within Pateley Bridge, on a quiet street. If you are looking for a home away from home, look no further.
Super cosy. Everything and more that you need for a stay. Lots of little extras - fresh milk bread etc. There was even a decorated Christmas tree and Christmas decorations. Two lovely pubs in Pately Bridge which both serve excellent meals.
Would definitely recommend and stay again. We travelled with work but would like to return at our leisure to enjoy the area.
Perfect location just off the main street in Pateley Bridge. The apartment was much bigger than we had expected, beautifully furnished and exceptionally clean. Access to the hot tub was via steps to a private garden for our use only. Each apartment had its own separate entrance and we were unaware of any noise from other occupants.
The setting, building and decor were lovely. The staff were amazing. The views were exceptional. The bar and drinks were good too. For a well priced stay a short walk from Pately Bridge it's a really good option, I'd just suggest eating elsewhere as the restaurant menu is dated and the food is average.
I went for a weekend away to just rest and it was very cosy, the stay exceeded my expectations. We took beautiful walks in the countryside, there are some restaurants and shops closeby. The property was nicely located, very spacious and comfortable. It's also dog friendly with an additional charge.
A lovely cosy cottage in the centre of Pateley Bridge, handy for the great selection of shops and cafés on the High Street but also tucked away and nice and quiet. I used it as a base for walking the Nidderdale Way, but there are plenty of shorter walks from the front door too!
Modern and spacious cabin. Warm and comfortable. Lots of space around the cabin too which gave plenty of privacy.
Just over a mile from Pateley bridge walking with a footpath to follow.
Staff answered questions quickly and left plenty of instructions to help us
We had dinner and breakfast in the hotel. Food and service were good. Our room was lovely and big and even though our room was at the front of the hotel on the main street of Pateley Bridge, we slept very well.
Beautiful views and surroundings, had a pleasant visit
to Pateley Bridge sweet shop and pancake house worth
a trip. The facilities had everything we needed. Will
make sure we visit again soon.
Staff were very friendly and went that extra mile to ensure our 2nd room was ready for our family arriving just before lunchtime to attend family wedding in pateley bridge.
Great location and view, beautiful room. Had dinner in the hotel restaurant and a coupel of drinks, food was excellent and drinks selection good and resonably priced,
