A great apartment in a fab location just behind the castle.Great facilities, would definately recommend to anyone and hopefully return again ourselves

This is an apartment on a tremendous good spot; I.E. directly in the middle of the Royal Mile. The apartment is of real good quality. Highly recommendable.

Improved could be the provision of information how to get rid of litter and information on the correct handling of the heating. Lighting should be checked; some bulbs were not present or in failure.

When the apt we originally booked was damaged we were upgraded to a fabulous (better) new apartment in the same general location at no cost. Staff we interacted with via email were ludicrously friendly, helpful and accomodating (early check in/late check out.) Unit was a fully equipped private apartment (not a hotel) so very private and home-like. Unit was clean, chic, well equipped and ideally located to see all major Edinburgh sites. Would reccommend to anyone looking for a perfect vacation spot in Edinburgh.

3 1/2 flights of stairs

Very convenient location, 5 mins walk to the castle and the St Giles cathedral is outside the window!!! very well furnished apartment!

Well you need to bring your own toilet paper...

We chose the Grassmarket apartment primarily for its location next to the castle and value for money. Everything was modern in the apartment with a brilliant view of the castle from two of the windows. 30 second walk to Grassmarket nightlife and 5 minute walk to Royal Mile. The apartment is however quiet at most times. Even though there were a couple of minor negatives, the value for money is excellent.

The apartment is on the third floor and there are many stairs to climb - as there is no lift it would not be good for anyone with walking problems. Some minor noise at 3am from a club near the back of the building, which occurred each night. Shared areas of apartment block urgently requires new carpet on stairway.

Everything! The staff were really really helpful and accommodating. The apartment was absolutely fabulous, really well maintained, spotless and central. Will definately be returning!!

The apartment was very comfortable with all amenities. It was warm with full supply of soft towels and bed clothes. It had a great view of the castle and had a good choice of bars and restaurants just a few footsteps away. This was alot more enjoyable and relaxing than staying in a hotel.

Very responsive staff. Very good location--excellent access to points of interest. Clean. Very comfortable bed.

Because it was on ground floor-- particularly in an area of loud nighttime activity--we could not leave the shades open at night.

It was a perfect location and a lovely apartment. We would hope to visit again soon.

Excellent customer service provided by staff. Fantastic apartment in fantastic location, we had an amazing weekend.

The cooker was broken, however the problem was solved quickly.

Location, location, location!! The view out the windows was a magnificent view of the Castle ad great location for touring Edinburgh's Old City and museums (our primary goals). The apartment was clean and comfortable and the management staff was very friendly and accommodating. We found one minor maintenance issue that they resolved the next morning (Soonest possible) with no interruption to our itinerary.

Location was vey good. Space was fine for a family of five.

Only one bath.

We appreciated that the apartment was very equipped with all the necessities. It was great to have breakfast, snacks and down time when we wanted and needed them. The location is suburb. Grass Market has many pubs, restaurants, corner stores and the Royal Mile is minutes away. Not to mention the Castle is right outside the window; simple stunning at night with all the lights.

Pleasant decor, nice modern interior

Key was nit left in secure box when I arrived st 9pm and took 40mins to get someone to me - it was torrential rain too! Stair to apartment were very slippery when when, and covered in bird muck, adding to slip risk. Hot water run it on my first morning whilst washing my hair!

This is a great place. It's roomy and has a very nice living room and kitchen. The wifi is fast ( find e unt in the living room and all passwords are listed on it). There is one full bath and one 1/4 bath. Lots of towels and extra beds.

The hosts sometimes took a few hours to respond. . Note that there is a parking garage over on Semple (behind the Odeon) that will cost 16 pound during the week per day and 5 pound on the weekend. The key to the front door is a little tricky but works. Note what they say about the 3 floor walk up. Each floor is quite higher than the one before.

Absolutely great location for fringe festival activities.

Extremely worn, musty smell,

The apartment is new renovated so everything is clean and nite. The apartment is in an old local building which give a nice local atmospher. It's near good tea and coffee places. The experiance was good and we were happy in this apartment.

There was no instruction about the apartment operation, this could make a big difference for our experiance, it took time to understand how the wifi works, where the hot water boiler is, there was no electricity when we arrived, there is a blue chip prepaid that I hade to remove and reput in, this gave us two days of electricity and in the third day when we run out of elect again I texted the responsible and she came took the chip charged it somewhere and came back with it charged. We also got an extra pair of keys after few days. I'm sure they will fix it and in general we enjoyed our staying there.
