A very good English breakfast Good having a swimming pool facility
Refused to pay for using WiFI. I really do beleive that in this day and age that this service should be provided as much as you would expect electricity or TV
Cleanliness Comfort Fantastic breakfast Professional and friendly staff
No water in room Not enough toiletry provision for 2 people
Everything about hotel is for your comfort
Noise from main road
Location was close to the International Centre where I was spending my day, check in was hassle free, check out time of 1145 was just what was needed and the staff were great in every respect!
Some staff were extremely good, friendly and helpful others were not
There was a mix up with our booking
Staff are all excellent, helpful and friendly. Made up for the faults the hotel had. Room was nice, comfortable and what you would expect. Food was good but a bit of a wait, worth it though.
Wifi was shocking. 1 working cue between 2 pool tables and a snooker table. Bar waits can be long if not many people in bar area. Being called 'Sir' all the time, that's just a personal thing though and staff are told they have to.
Car parking security excellent, as there were security barriers at entrance to hotel car park. During our stay, fire alarms were activated, we were very impressed how staff reacted to evacuating the hotel. However a false alarm, due to a guest steam ironing in room. Good to know fire alarm system was working.
The staff were very nice, they upgraded our room for free as it was my partners birthday and there was even a birthday card left in the room from all the staff. Food was lovely and the hotel is within walking distance of the city centre. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Telford.
I used the leisure facilities both nights and enjoyed total privacy both times as there wasn't anyone else about. Lovely warm water in the pool even in winter, and the sauna was a nice touch - (although the sauna is understandably separated into male and female, it would have been nice to sit in there with my partner rather than alone). The room was fairly small but had everything I needed, including kettle, iron, hair dryer, tea and biscuits. Toiletries were of good quality (shampoo and conditioner, not two in one). I would happily stay here again for the same price, which was £43 a night for a double room at the weekend. I think we had sky sports on the tv as well. The shower was a dream to use with a nice big shower head and strong stream of hot water.
I didn't have a problem the first night, but the second night I was woken up repeatedly by what is apparently noisy plumbing? It sounded like knuckles rapping on the radiator every so often and was loud enough to wake me during the night. The hotel room doors appear to be fire doors and are big and heavy enough to slam shut rather loudly unless carefully guided, so you're bound to hear one slam or slam one yourself. Needing a £1 coin to use the lockers in the leisure area changing rooms seemed a bit unnecessary. I stayed on the "2nd floor" which looked a lot like the ground floor - and did not get to experience a room with a skylight.
very help full staff, pool good
limited menu for duration of stay
Great location, clean, friendly staff
Only that after ordering room service we then received a call 20 minutes later (at 9:30pm) asking us to come to reception to pay for the order.
I can't believe you should have to pay for wifi in this day and age. Very misguided "Ramada"
everything , staff are brilliant, be back soon, james vicki
Helpful staff Sky sports Lovely bathroom
There were Christmas parties in the bar areas with a lot of drunken people! Wasn't comfortable in the bar around them
comfy bed, excellent room service, cosy room, free wifi, superb housekeeping
nothing. Maybe a slightly bigger room
Room small, dated & dated bathroom Poor quality breakfast
Paying for wi fi, well I never pay for wi fi so I didn't but it's about time chain hotels supplied this for free like independent hotels do (and Holiday Inn)
The hotel was great one of the best for the price, great staff and good location. Can not fault anything we had a great time.
Swimming pool was very good
The hotel was easy to find and within walking distance of the town centre (which is mostly a covered retail centre) and the restaurants there.
Good location. Comfortable and friendly
Why put all the power sockets at floor level so that the kettle with a tiny lead can only be used on the floor? Wi.fi is usually free in hotels so why do you charge £2.00
The staff were excellent but then they didn't have any problems to sort out . will use again
Allround very good value -for-money
Slight 'hiss' of water in pipework from around 5am - probably other guests taking showers - but as I'm used to a silent house, it woke me up! (This can be largely avoided by careful pipe connection design and tradesmen de-burring pipes before assembly!)
