Set in 5 acres of landscaped grounds, this new Telford hotel is within easy walking distance of the Telford Shopping Complex and the offices of Cap Gemini and Fujitsu.

The 90 en suite bedroom are complemented by extensive conference facilities and a range of convenient amenities. Start the day with a full English breakfast in the Merlots Restaurant, where you can also partake of brasserie style food in the evening. A gymnasium, games room and selection of outdoor sports courts will be sure to keep you relaxed and refreshed.

The attractive grounds make the ideal backdrop for weddings, conferences and other functions.

A 3-star property set in 5 acres of sculptured grounds that provides an ideal backdrop for functions such as weddings.

Area information

The hotel is within walking distance of the Telford Shopping Centre and many business offices such as Cap Gemini and Fujitsu. Within a 1.6 km (1 mile) radius there is a cinema, bowling alley, ice rink and over 400 acres of parkland. The hotel also operates a shuttle to the Telford International Centre when large exhibitions and conferences scheduled. Golf and beauty treatments are also available within 8 km (5 miles).

Other nearby attractions include:

Ironbridge Gorge Museum (10.5 km / 6.5 miles) - one of a number of museums detailing the industrial history of this now deeply wooded and tranquil valley. Here you can see the world's 1st great iron bridge, cast in 1779 and spanning the gorge.

Royal Air Force Museum (14.5 km / 9 miles) - at nearby Cosford, the museum house one of the largest aviation collections in the UK, with over 70 different aircraft on display.

everything except the smell of smoke.

we enjoyed our stay except one think the awful smell of smoke in the roons i heard someone else make the same comment also .

The staff are helpfull, and hotel is in a handy area

There was a lot of noise during the night with singing and banging,in the morning it looked as if someone had wet them selves and wet on the floor, a couple of glasses where just thrown dowwn

hotel was easy to find and was a great base within 5mins walk of telford shoping center, friendly helpfull staff, hotel rooms were great value for money at £55 a night, brekfast was self service in dining room, with everything from full english to cereal, as much as you could eat & was delicious, dining at the hotel in the evening is highly recomended.

We liked the general ambience and the friendlyness of the staff

We feel strongly that there should be at least a small number of twin-bedded rooms. Have travelled widely and have never met this problem before

hotel staff were very friendly - let us check in early too

None other than a minor one. Batteries is remote were useless but the receptionist said that would be taken care of and no doubt it will.
