Location Luonge and resturant
Club Lounge had hardly anything vegetarian.
Pleasant staff with excellent attention.
Thought spa was overpriced so didn't use it.
everything! staff were amazing, breakfast was the best I've ever seen, rooms were wonderful, evening meal in the restaurant was flawless, cocktails in the bar amazing. We paid the extra for castle view which was well worth the money, worth every penny!
Loved our short stay at Sheraton. Staff were fantastic. Hotel was luxurious, couldn't fault it! Super location. Will be back to stay.
Very good hotel, easy access, good facilities, food and Staff.
Perhaps trouser press and bidet should be in a claimed 5 star hotl
Kwaliteit is top. Pal naast Edinbugh International Congress Centre (EICC).
Prijzig hotel. De hoofdingang ligt aan de achterzijde maar is voor voetgangers niet goed ontsloten. De ingang aan de voorzijde gaat 's nachts echter dicht. Achterzijde zeer ongastvrije ingang. Beton.
Breakfast was of disappointing quality
Hotel was lovely wish we had more time to spend in it. We had lunch at one square then headed to murrayfield.
The service was slow. Staff were friendly but our drinks took a while to come, some were then missing or were the wrong order. Good wasn't too long to come out but my daughter had the sticky tiffee pudding and couldn't eat it as the sauce was burnt and had a horrid taste. Some of the menu options were not available and a few of the group only had one course as the remaining items were not to their liking. This was all mentioned to staff on the desk. Not sure if it was just busy or if this is the usual time it would take but we arrived at 1.30 and left around 3.30. Quite a while for a lunch.
1.) Room - Well Laid out 2.) Concierage service 3.) Dinning Experience (Posh Eggs?} 4.) View - Festival Square & Usher Hall 5.) Staff - Including the Cleaning Ladies
Not a Lot! But the Bill...... But with the sevice experienced it wasn't bad.
The views of the castle were fantastic. The location was very convenient to walk around the city. There is a great Italian restaurant across the road from the hotel and it stays open very late, which is handy if you arrive after the hotel restaurant closes.
Overall stay was very welcoming, facilites were clean,& bar & staff was excellent. Location great.
Spa facilities were excellent, staff were very friendly and helpful. Stayed in executive room and had use of lounge on 7 th floor which was very nice. Overall a really superb hotel.
Staff very attentive not sure if it was because we booked Club anyway can't fault, inclusion of Spa made it worthwhile
Decor a bit spartan
Glass bathroom & toilet:-(
Club lounge Spa and leisure club restaraunt food
Continental breakfast only in club lounge which you had to eat on your lap or at coffee tables. Had to 'upgrade for £10' to eat a hot breakfast in the standard restaraunt
Good location great staff lovely suit spa was very relaxing just what we went for that night
The food was very disappointing I had the smooth pate it was so smooth more like a cream with very average bread toast could use more imagination given the price We shared the lamb hot pot the meat content in the stew was very good but the shanks on the top were very raw undercooked and cold like they had been pre cooked before the dish had been put together Last visit we had with friends the food was top drawer this time very disappointed
First class service throughout.
The room size The comfortable beds Lovely bathroom and linen Cocktail bar staff and ambiance
Bedroom lighting was a bit dim for putting on make up
Very clean, modern and everything is of a high quality
£20 each for breakfast is a rip off! £30 extra per day for spa isn't worth it. They show you lovely pictures, and explain you need all day there, but when you get in it's tiny. Its nice but I would spend 2 hours there max in a day. Would be nice to use every day for 30 mins, but not for £30!
The breakfast buffet there was something for everyone.
Spacious rooms, large spa and friendly staff
Gorgeous hotel with superb facilities. Had a great relaxing weekend staff were exceptional.
Had a bed and breakfast rate, however because we opted for breakfast in bed rather than in the restaurant we were charged £20 each again for breakfast on checkout.
