Located in the charming village of Beachamwell, on the edge of Thetford Forest, the Great Danes Country Inn has a 24-hour reception, a bar, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. Some bedrooms at the Great Danes are located in the main building and some are located in the old lodge. They all come with an en suite shower and tea/coffee making facilities. A buffet breakfast is served every morning in the restaurant and guests can request a cooked option at an extra cost. The bar has a fire place and local ales, while the restaurant serves traditional food. Kings Lynn is a 30-minute drive from the Great Danes Country Inn and the property is surrounded by countryside walks and cycle paths. Delightful rural location. An extremely friendly host. The accommodation was particularly pleasant and the meals were excellent. There was nothing on which we fault.

Exceptional value. Our room and bathroom were immaculatel impeccably clean, and designed for convenience and comfort. In addition to being welcoming and well thought out, the inn has interesting objects all around which make it refreshingly different place to stay.

Very friendly staff. It's like staying with family in the country. Nothing. It's off the beaten path for sure but that ends to its charm.

The warm & welcoming atmosphere A true "country inn" ambience Friendly, helpful staff with a cheerful disposition. A little bit far from "civilisation", however, other guests may prefer the remoteness. It's all a matter of preference

Jovial hospitable proprietor. Extremely helpful, courteous and good with the 2 dogs! The room was extremely comfortable, quiet, clean, all facilities needed. Lovely bathroom also. Food very tasty and I would go there again. Thanks you Rob Mary Ann Bar not open until about 7pm on a Saturday which was a shame.

Great value for money - much nicer than staying at a big corporate chain. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening which was beautifully cooked and served up by the very friendly cook/waiter/barman. If I get the business in Kings Lynn which was the reason for my visit, I will defintely be back. Poor mobile phone signal. Nothing to do with Great Danes of course obviously just the location.

Staff were very cheerful and more than helpful. Offered to act as taxi driver (at a reasonable rate) when a local firm proved very expensive!
