Decor beautiful, service and doesn't feel that u in a hotel fantastic concept
Didn't like the noises in morning outside with what looked like delivers and pick up trash truck
Lovely decorations, lots of thought had gone into everything from the fresh cookies on arrival to the way the rooms were laid out and the extra books and so on to browse.
Nothing in particular!
The room was lovely and comfortable, with the bathroom on a mezzanine level. Superb rooftop bar area. Staff were fantastic and could not have been more helpful.
Plastic topiary ???
Loved the hotel, the roof-top terrace, the hot tub!
Our bed was really uncomfortable - possibly broken? - with a severe lean in to the middle :-(
The hotel was amazing felt so comfortable being there. The staff couldn't do enough for you. It was very clean. And good value.
Nothing to be honest just felt right.
Nice boutigue hotel
Car parking charges. On all occasions when booking I have asked them for no feather pillows. Each time this has been forgotten and on one occasion I was told it was to late to change pillows as housekeeping had gone home!
Quirkiness, just so different, lots of little rooms and alcoves, such great character. Absolute must to stay if you are looking for something different but great. The bed must have been one of the most comfortable I have slept in a long time.
Roof terrace was busy due to warm weather however they seemed very understaffed and the wait for drinks and meal was excessive. Had you been on a time limit you would have had to leave. The staff that were on duty were helpful and friendly.
Loved the room - comfortable, unusual, stylish and well thought through. The breakfast was superb, and I really enjoyed the whole ambience of the place.
Nothing to dislike
The room was spectacular, the staff were extremely friendly and very helpful and the rooftop terrace was amazing. A fantastic hotel that was excellent value for money due to the quality of service and exceptional facilities.
Nothing, couldn't fault anything.
Its just different and quirky
Paid good money to stay here £600 for two rooms for 1 night...paid extra for Breakfast,,Paid Extra for car parking ..Paid Service Charge for everything...No toilet Rolls in Bathroom asked at reception on our way out..had to ask again at 1pm on our return.....No room service when out to make the beds and remove Coffee cups etc.... Dident feel like a guest just a customer
it was very funky and original, stylish decor
noisy room , may have been A/C unit and adjoining rooms
Love the rooms at the Great St John and the roof garden. The staff cannot do enough for you especially the lovely lady on reception.
all absolutely first class
everything perfect,nothing I didn't like
great hotel good location wouldn't stay again Lowry still a better at the same price range.
Picture on website showed two baths sitting side by side on arrival found out that there was only 3 of this type of room and the 4th has a single bath . They apologies end and gave us a free breakfast to make up . Very good service at all times . Roof bar had a party so we could only use half but very nice. In the morning found that the cleaning equipment keep opposite our room and was a little load and also the lift was always filled with staff as only one lift.
Great staff, v helpful
Shower changing from hot to cold !!
Very welcoming staff.. liked the welcome cookies and free wifi..
The room was gorgeous, would recommend to family and friend, best hotel i,ve stayed in :)
Lovely rooms, gorgeous roof terrace - shame there was a function on!
Price of breakfast seems a little silly!
Lovely lovely staff :)
What's not to like
Lovely hotel. Great staff. Good bar. Friendly. Trendy.
Great service from staff beautifully appointed room and hotel generally very nice
No good well lit mirror for ladies to apply make up. Ceiling in shower /steam room bit grubby needs re-dec. no loo brush and soft close seat on WC would be more in keeping with high end refurbishment.
I was unwell before getting to the hotel and when I got there the staff was fab really looked after me I can't wait to stay again
Quality hotel, staff always friendly and efficient. First class comfort.
the room was amazing and the giant stand alone bath was also great. the venue is lovely and the reception staff were superb
Only negative was the room service being a little forceful about entering the room in the morning with the breakfast.
