Great Malvern Hotel  

Food was cooked to perfection. Friendliness of staff, cleanliness and character of hotel.

Very convenient location at the centre of the town. Manager was exceptionally friendly and helpful, offering a choice of rooms because of possible noise from music in the bar.

Parking might be a problem at busy times but it was OK for me.

Staff excellent. Breakfast was very good - nothing too much trouble . Good sized bedroom.

Bedroom and bathroom were grubby. No light bulb in bathroom. Hotel was overall dated and in need of TLC.

Car parking very limited and one night we had to park some distance from the Hotel.

My doubleroom/single occupancy was spacious and quiet. Wifi was fast and free. Breakfast menu was extensive.

Very friendly...nothing was too much trouble. Sandwiches left in room upon arrival were fresh and very nice. Excellent value for money and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Pigeons were housed near our bedroom window and awoke us at 6am and kept us awake for the next 2 hours.

The WiFi was not accessible from our room, though it could be accessed from eg the lounge. This was slightly inconvenient

Very close to shops and eating places. Good bar with entertainment in the evenings. Marvellous walking over the Malvern hills.

Unfortunate room (No. 3) - there was a pidgeon (dove) enclosure outside our window with much excrement on the window ledge. Were woken early each morning by cooing and bird noises directly outside...

The staff were particularlyhelpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent

The quality of furnishings and fittings was poor. In the bedroom, the arm of the chair came away in our hand when we went to move it, and the bottom of the wardrobe was so dirty that my wife had to clean it before putting the cases on it.. In the bathroom, the shower head cradle came away from the wall, as did one end of the shower curtain rail. These problems could have been fixed by any capable member of Staff. We were disapointed to find that the ground-floor of the hotel was really little more than a pub frequented by locals. We had anticipated something better.

The hotel was in a very good location.Staff were very helpful and friendly.The breakfast was excellent.The room was a nice size and clean and comfortable.
