The ease of access to transport facilities
The lighting in the room was inadequate for hair and makeup. Tea/coffee making facilities need to be available in the room, not down the corridor.
Location courtesy of staff quality of restaurant
the room -though with excellent bathroom-and bed ,lighting etc toilet with glass doors was located -adjacent to bed therefore no privacy!
Location good Nice vibe
No milk/cake/ papers in 'pantry'. Very disappointed Toiletries were half empty when we arrived-not good enough standard. Shopping that we asked to left with nour luggage was not returned. Unhappy. Expect more for £300/night
The bedrooms were small but very well appointed. I liked the idea of a pantry on each floor. The lively bar was very good. Breakfast was all served by the staff and beautifully cooked.
The reception area is very cold and pokey. Check out was very slow. The staff at breakfast don't quite understand how English breakfast works. They brought first of all no milk and then hot milk with tea etc.
Quality, tasteful stylish decor. Location. Atmosphere. Pantry.
Thought the room had super high quality furniture and decoration, it was quite small. On first night staff were easygoing to the point of being almost flippant.
The room was lovely and the hotel itself is very attractive. I ate a lovely meal in the restaurant and the reception staff were excellent. Wifi is good and the on-demand films are a great idea.
The service in the restaurant was quite slow and I felt a bit forgotten. It was the same at breakfast the following morning and in the bar - in fact I warned my friend to ask for the bill at the same as the drinks arrived as we had a train to catch. The pantry is a nice idea but it would nice to have to option of tea making facilities in the room because the pantry was out of cups when I went in and the sink was full of dirty dishes but with no way to wash them.
Hotel really close to train station which on this trip was a pre. Hotel staff really helpful and professional. Nice breakfast area and bar.
The water in shower was lukewarm. The bathroom had everything you need but was in no way luxurious. Bathroom was cold. Could not get a coffee in the bar late at night. Bed really hard and small.
General decor. Renovation of hotel exterior Breakfast
Dressing gown and slippers too small even for normal sized people so were a waste of time. One size fits all doesn't work. A feel a little bit cheated. Small size of reception area. Would hate to be booking in and out if it was busy.
The lights in the room fused overnight. My Daughter and I repeatedly tried to turn the lights on the next morning and eventually called reception while waiting my daughter got in the shower as we were now running late for appointments in the dark she fell and injured herself. I reported this at reception and asked them to contact management I am still waiting for any response at all!! They obviously don't care
The lovely welcome and tour of facilities on arrival and the help yourself pantry on each floor
Those booking dinner on line are told tables occupied only for one & a half hours. Could put folk off. Told on arrival that this was "negotiable!"
Facilities were decent, loved the pantry option, very good idea
Room was a little tight. Breakfast was hectic and some basic things were missed or could have been better
Food at surrounding, tube at front door , center of touring place.
see through toilet doors green ceiling light on all night bed size
Pantry and comfy beds
Needed more storage space
Well soundproofed, very comfy bed. Friendly staff and a well stocked pantry!
Nothing at all, excellent hotel.
Free Wifi Pantry
Rude Staff Noisy The Most Uncomfortable Bed Being locked out of my room
The location of this hotel is excellent, close to train, bus and great shopping in Oxford Street as well as the theatres. The rooms are extremely small but well appointed and comfortable with an extremely large bathroom for the size of the unit. The pantry/kitchen on each floor offering tea, coffee, cake fruit etc 24 hours is a very welcome addition. The breakfast and a breakfast staff were amazing
If you are aged or not agile don't think about staying here as they are cabin bunks which means climbing over someone to get to the bathroom. The rooms would be impossible for more than a one night stay. Get the check in staff to put there comments in writing as they told us breakfast was included, which I questioned and was told a second time it was. It was not which caused embarrassment for the breakfast staff and a bill for the dearest breakfast in London. In the bar you actually become invisible. There were 4 men behind the bar who told us to take a seat and we would be served, they than began to look busy and talk amongst each other and the 8 people in the bar became invisible so much so three tables were being loud about what it took to get a drink. Thank God for the young Lady who ran thru, took all the orders for the patrons whilst the males continued there all important self indulgent talk. We asked the young Lady if she got paid twice as money as the males as she was the only one doing any work, alas she wasn't. Surprisingly the next morning we went to the bar and the males were setting up and they all fell over themselves to tell us they were not opened yet and we could not get served, I told them we were sitting waiting for someone and would only order a drink when the young Lady started work.
very friendly and helpful staff that make you feel anything is not an issue.
There are emergency lights fitted in every room which give off a low level greenlight. these could not be turned off. this kept my other half up most of the night. the staff in the morning informed us they could have covered them if asked. so any other people please note, if the light is an issue contact the staff to cover it
Wonderful location, friendly staff, cosy rooms, beautifully furnished, a tiny self-service kitchen on each floor availiable 24h where you can treat yourself various kinds of tea, coffee and hommade cake (replaces the breakfasts, which are not included!)
Our room was a bit too small
Staff, location, luxurious but practical, ambience, quality fittings and features
Not enough warm water. In fairness, a luke-warm shower at a lesser hotel would usually incur the wrath - they just need to stick the immersion on a bit earlier!
It is a new hotel free movies, breakfast was amazing
The room is very small for 500$ a night
Location, decor, staff, room, breakfast, superfast free WiFi
Limited storage space in room
The décor in the room and the restaurant was excellent. The feel of the hotel was smart, chic and clean. Breakfast and service were excellent.
Toilet was a bit close to the bed but the room and bathroom was great overall.
Extra quiet, well appointed room for short stay, Excellent for travel interchange for car hire/Eurostar/Piccadilly line to Heathrow. Convenient coffee/snacks pantry on each floor. Staff pleasant & helpful.
Pristine room with high ceilings and wonderful ventilation - I did not feel the compulsion to open a window, accessible pantry with goodies. Wonderful location for train travellers from Kings X, which we were. Plenty of places for food in the vicinity if not eating in the hotel.
Signage, a prominent sign is needed outside the building to show the entrance for reception. We really enjoyed the commodious bath, sticklers should note there was no shower in our bathroom.
