Breakfast is served between 07:30 and 09:00, Monday to Friday, and from 08:00 to 09:30 on Saturdays and Sundays. There is a large buffet breakfast table, followed by a generous full cooked English breakfast.
At the time of booking, Great Trethew Manor will charge your credit card for the full cost of the 1st night of your stay. The balance for hotel guests will be due upon departure. The balance for self catering cottage guests will be due on the day of arrival.
If you wish to make arrangements for an alternative method of payment (cash on arrival, or a different credit card), please state this in the 'Requests' section at the time of booking.

The location was good, close to Looe and the coast (although their suggestion you could do the drive in a few minutes was misleading); approached through an attractive (if rather run down) driveway. The rooms were dirty - in particular the bathroom and the kitchen. There were previous occupants hair left in the sink and shower. The shower equipment was broken. There seemed to have been rapid and ineffective repainting, so that there were patches all over the walls, creating a run down air. The wardrobe in one of the rooms had mould and smelt - you could not advisdedly put clothes in it. The approach to the front door was past over-spilling rubbish bins. The car parking spaces were occupied by derelict furniture and equipment. And the gardens in front of the rooms were entirely untended. All in all it was a very depressing experience, so much so we had booked for three days and decided to go home after two. |

Lovely surroundings, comfortable bed and friendly staff. Very thin walls between bedrooms. Cooked breakfast seemed reheated instead of freshly cooked. |

not good-for a start hard to find-directions non existant, room poorly maintained-settee and chairs dirty, washing machine did not work-hotel said wii-fi throughout but this was not the case-only in certain parts of the bar-not in rooms.The double bed was jammed against a wall and so small-it was more like a king single.Very tatty and run down. .We say give this one a big miss! |

The peace and tranquillity of the grounds - lovely location. Whole building seemed to creak - understanderbly as old, however floorboards creaked outside of room - heard evereyone walking past my door. Could hear people next door singing in the shower and using the toilet. The bedroom was very basic - no chair to place clothes on and TV on top of high wardrobe - couldn't watch in comfort, plus the TV reception was very poor. |

It was a very pleasant country style hotel with beautiful grounds pheasants wandering around, fishing, walks etc. Unfortunately at the time we were there it rained a good deal. Otherwise very good value The room we had was good, but bathroom/shower/toilet arrangement was not ideal for "older" people. |

Charming place to stay set out in the countryside food and room very good, Very good for bed and breakfast, which was our reason for staying. The grounds and lake are in need of care and attention and probably do not reflect the information shown on the hotel webb pages. Not a problem for us, but could be if you planned a fishing holiday |

A lovely hotel in beautiful grounds. The staff were very welcoming and the food excellent. Although the room was lovely, a few extra touches like a full length mirror, tissues, a shelf and hook in the bathroom would have finished it off nicely. Also there was no phone in the room to contact reception. |
