The staff were great fun and very friendly. Breakfast was good. The room very comfortable.Had a lovely evening meal in the bar. Looking forward to our next visit!

The only complaint we have is that it was very hot in our room. The heating was on in the passageway outside our room which made the room very hot, even though it was warm outside.

The Restaurant and the breakfast. It was very nice to come down/up for breakfast and find a jug of milk at the table, instead of one jug for everyone. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Staff very friendly, food excellent, very reasonable price. Breakfast was out standing. Easy to find, First room was very clean & well furbished but was a leak in bathroom so was moved. Would stay again.

2nd room not very well furbished, dusty, cobwebs, broken toilet seat, bathroom door jammed, hot tap jammed. BUT before leaving pointed out problems. After arriving home got phone call from owner apologising, said she was not going to charge me. Brilliant service. Would stay again.

This is an excellent budget friendly hotel. Our room was large; very comfortable with arm chairs; and above all serviced throughout our stay. In bitterly cold weather the room remained very warm and cosy. There was hot water to be had from the bathroom facilities at all times. The food/drinks in the very friendly bar/lounge atmosphere was excellent. Why travel around looking for restaurants when 'Green Acre' is able to provide such fare. The Breakfasts included in the pppn charges, full English, etc, set one up for the day. We spent our days in blistering cold weather compensated for by the knowledge we would be returning to the comfort of such a motel. Well done 'Green Acre'. We shall be visiting you again. And top-marks to both you and your very friendly hard working staff. brianb

Nothing there was nothing to dislike....The very friendly management and staff took care of our needs more than adequately. We have stayed in the area before but never at 'Green-Acre'. In future 'Green Acre' will be our priority call. brianb

The main bedroom was good and the food was tasty and good value Location was good for the motorway. Good parking.

The bathroom was a mess with a broken shower bracket and no curtain or rail so taking a shower was not possible. When reported on three occasions to staff nothing was done and no concern shown. I shall think hard before using the place again.

The breakfast was good and service was friendly

Was promised help with tv and bedside light which needed a new bulb, but this was not forthcoming.

I stayed at Greenacres during the heavy snowfall in January, Staff were friendly and very helpful, keeping me regularly informed about the state of the roads, supplying endless cups of tea, getting a tractor with snowplough to clear the carpark. They were friendly and helpful throughout my stay and I would be very happy to stay there again.

Room was clean and comfortable.

Bar area is looking tired and needs decorating. Some of the food was claerly out a a tin or packet. Radiator leaking in room, carpet wet, when we woke.

It was a small friendly place. The food was excellent.

The location

The rooms are a good size with a couple of easy chairs. It was spotlessly clean and the staff are very friendly. Green Acres serves food that is unfussy, well cooked and good portions at a very reasonable price.

The matress was too hard for my liking but that is a small point compared to all the positives.

Very nice staff, cleanliness of rooms and food was good too.

The motel was clean and tidy, smelled fresh and was quiet at night. The room appeared to be freshly decorated, and this had been well done, with modern design and all the furnishings were tasteful and uncluttered.

The surroundings were a bit offputting at first, but this did not detract from the quality of the actual motel. No-one in reception to greet guests, had to go in search of room key, but possibly they were very busy (there was a wedding reception taking place).

Room was large and nicely decorated. Reasonably priced and adequately comfortable for a night or two. Good flat screen tv. The bathroom a little dated but provided with plenty of towels. Breakfast ok but little choice.

Located behind a bit of a scruffy pub (on a busyish road) to which the motel was connected and a bit 'run down' in external appearance. No reception and no indication where to book in but bar staff seemed to double up handling check in competently.

No meals available on Sunday evening

We were looking for an economical overnight stop. It provided that very well - very comfortable, clean , nice bathroom, convenient check out time. If you are looking for more probably wouldn't suit but as a motel excellent.

Staff are a credit to you and the morning lady is a asset to you excellent service.

Rooms need updating and matteresses need updating.

In a nut shell, the friendliness and service was so warming and relaxing, we loved the room with the door directly to our car, food excellent, infact we are looking forward to the next stay, thanking you very much john and jacqui
