Friendly welcome from the owner. Excellent facilities in the room allotted. First class breakfast. Would visit again
We were very happy with everything and would make Green Gables our first choice if we came to Chester again.
This was quite a pleasurable experience overall. It's within walking distance of the centre, and there's adequate parking. I slept very well in a very clean and friendly environment, and found it all to be very charming!
Location parking secure as we had motor cycles Staff were very nice . Very nice breakfast .
There was nothing to dislike about this B and B
location good ,friendly but not intrusive owner , spotless rooms with excellent secure parking . frequent bus service to town centre 100 yards away.extensive fine breakfast choice.
Excellent breakfasts Friendly and helpful host Good wifi
There was a smell of strange food being cooked (occasionally) Weak shower
Excellent, professional staff; great room and facilities. Dorota, the hostess went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable.
There was nothing we did not like
Nice guest house short walk into town took us 10 mins.parking is really good let us leave our car there all weekend even before we checked in and after we checked out :)
A quiet location not too far out of town. Very friendly staff. Very clean.
Very friendly warm welcoming staff. Would definitely stay again
good parking facilities quiet location
The staff of this hotel is very kind. So We had great time.
A bit far from station.
Large, comfortable family room, excellent breakfast, lovely garden, friendly owner
It's not even a 'not-like' really, but it would have been useful to have been able to pay for the room by credit card.
nice room clean good location
Excellent quiet location, lovely garden and off street parking.
Gates were locked at night meaning a climb to get back in! Breakfast was nothing special, TV reception was awful and clock in room was set an hour fast meaning I ended up getting up an hour early. Not really a 4* in my opinion and more of a £50 stay than an £80 one.
The room I was given (although I only booked a single) was a family room, very spacious and with its own bathroom. Decor pleasant and clean. With the bed cover, the bed was warm. Shower excellent. Breakfast delicious - lady went out of her way to give me just what I wanted.
Would have liked sheets on my bed (it is a personal preference).
Everything about the house and room. It is spotlessly clean, our room was a good size, had the facilties you expect and the bed was very comfortable. Mrs.Peruzza, the proprietor was very friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our visit.
veryand excellent breakfast xxx friendly
wifi was weak signal
Friendly and comfortable
Breakfast was good freshly prepared
mattress was old and lumpy and gave me a very sore back which lasted 3 days
Immaculately clean. Very helpful owner. Very comfortable
Welcoming, friendly and attentive.
Don't take card payment.
Only stayed one night , no problems.
A quiet ,comfortable place to stay
Location was good and breakfast was good.
Staff were very insulting, as they didn't like that our kids made noise, even thought the room that we hired was a family room. When we told the staff that the room was cold, they said that to put the thermostat on the radiator to 5 (max), which it already was, no solution was given to this, so we all slept in our jumpers, socks etc, very uncomfortable. Overall very uncomfortable stay, as staff were very argumentative, insulting and did not make us feel welcome. Would never recommend this guest house!
