It is a bit "tired" with regards to decor and the furniture in the rooms was not suitable - plastic garden chair and stool

We paid £50 for a double room with breakfast. The room was clean and the small ensuite appeared relatively new. The beds were not very comfortable.Nice hospitality tray and TV. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful, check in was informative and swift. Breakfast was good and served by a very friendly young girl. Overall, a good experience for the price we paid, A bit far out for us in terms of Scarborough sea front.

Not a complaint, but an observation, the breakfast conservatory was lovely, but incredibly hot, to the point that, although the breakfast was good, we didnt linger!

only a bath and no shower in appartment - not warned about this in advance decor rather tired appartment was very hot and not easy to air as had window restraints for safety, ability to open more windows would be useful - if ever replace windows should consider larger opening across whole width at the top which would still be safe

Its all a bit dated but clean and tidy!

The whole experience was amazing, the pool and the 2 bedroom apparent really met our expectations.

I liked that it was very family orientated and the kids could come and go as they pleased. I felt they were safe in the hotel.

I found the rooms to be very basic but for the price completely adequate. When we went into the pool in the afternoon the changing rooms were quite revolting but when we went in the next morning they were spotless.

Free parking. Very good value for a one night stay

The staff were really lovely and the hotel is spotless! Breakfast with waitress service was great. The building has a lot of history and is very unique with a lot of the original features remaining. Dogs are very welcome and there is a park with children's play area on the doorstep. Hotel also has 2 car park areas. Great budget hotel!

Even though Green Gables is a little old fashioned it has lots to offer.

The staff at green gables were very friendly and welcoming, we requested to change rooms due to my mother not being able to walk very far, this were done without hesitation. We really cannot fault the staff. The rooms were clean and efficient to what you need for a weekend break. Facilities for children are very good.

we rented a two bedroom apartment and although the bedrooms were a bit dated we really could not have asked for more. plenty of space for little ones(we had 3) and a kitchen with all the things self catering normally lacks. staff that couldnt have been more helpful we felt that although a little out we got great value for money.

pool a little deep for very small children.

Swimming pool was great for our daughter and so was the games room. The food was wonderful and all the staff very helpful. There were so many rooms to use including the reteraunt, , bar, games room, lounge, etc. The hotel was warm and we would stay there again.

Our self-catering apartment had a big lounge, a double bed, and two single beds. Everything was adequately clean. No foul smells. Lots of space at the front and rear car parks, which is a godsend because parking in Scarborough is generally a nightmare.

The kitchen smelled a little. The bathtub leaked water and the bathroom floor got wet. The heaters were too hot, which was not a real problem as some of them had adjustable valves. The beds are fairly springy which might be a problem if you're a heavy person or you have backache. If you're a heavy person who is used to sleeping on any sort of memory foam then bring a memory foam topper because you will feel the springs. It's a two-mile walk to the town centre.

Great flat, enjoyed the pool, good location for visiting the area
