great location for all we wanted to see in the area, close and easy access to edinburgh without city cost, large rooms, good buffet breakfast

Nice hotel, very clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly , i would stay again if in area, pleasant and relaxing surroundings with plenty of space.

Food in Jocks bar very good

the staff are freondly and helpful. the rooms are comfortable and well appointed.

Golf party. As the golf courses where closed due to snow how the golf Pro was very helpful to arrange games for my party to play elsewhere.

We were disappointed at the lack of hot water in the morning. We mentioned this to the receptionist who said engineers were looking in to the problem

Nice big rooms, good bars that stay open late. Staff excellent, Gaba, Lauren & General Manger were all very helpful.

Spa facilities, backstage area for seeing a band within the hotel and memorabilia on walls. Also the different eating options. We came without our son on this occasion but will come back as a family next time.

Nothing really. If I had to say something it would be the seating in the lounge area which could do with being replaced or repadded.

The buffet breakfast was nice The staff at the leasure facility at the Withernsae Hotel were lovely LEAVING

My stay begins with Check in time which is advertised as 2pm the room was not ready until 2.45 No explanation from reception staff about facilities they didn't tell us where anything was e.g. Hotel advertises having a live show venue within the hotel called Backstage - there was no explanation that guests were required to purchase tickets for £18.00 each for the show therefor myself and the other guest tried to walk into the show and were turned away by security as we didn't have tickets. After booking a table for the hotel restaurant "Jocks" and turning up to be told there was no reservation made after finally being seated we waited 15 minutes for waiting staff to return I finally went to the bar and ordered drinks for the table myself The Welsh guests who were staying for the Rugby were very rowdy in the Hotel Bar at one point they were in a scrum of 8 or 9 at the bar Myself and other guests seemed very surprised that staff didn't seem to care as they were obviously spending a lot of money Overall experience Horendous

we had the best holiday ever the golf the hotel the rooms the staff and the food were tremendous

we liked everything the only thing not to like was leaving

Staff very friendly and helpful. Waitress at breakfast kindly made a special effort to provide a cappuccino.

Car parking was quite difficult.

Friendly staff and very helpful, hotel is well situated easy to find, clean and comfortable with beautiful views of the countryside.

Being chapped up before departure time. Breakfast was not to the same standard as dinner with poor quality eggs and mushrooms. Could cater more for a vegetarian diet.

My wife and I really liked the ambience of the hotel. It had a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Squeeky floors

The reception, bar and breakfast staff were welcoming and we were allocated a lovely extra large room overlooking the private garden. The leisure centre is situated in a different hotel a couple of minutes walk away and the facilities were great.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable stay. The Spa facilities were amazing.

We loved the whole experience of the spa hotels ,pure relaxation also the wonderful staff always very helpful. The food was wonderful and plenty off it.

Large rooms and variety of eating.

Rooms could be brighter, all low energy bulbs making room very dim.

The very helpful and friendly staff, the spacious rooms, the choice of dining, easy access to public transport, comfortable lounges, the Backstage venue. Definitely planning to return.

The only thing that perhaps could be improved was the shower.....but not a big problem.

Great welcome and good value for money. We were very pleasantly surprised at the standard of the hotel. We will use it again.

Mattress in the bed was a bit uncomfortable as if the springs had gone, (room 29).

The hotel was fresh clean and comfortable. the staff friendly and helpful.

The purpose that the staff had in the way they went about their tasks. The location was just right as I was visiting in Collessie. The hotel provided just what I needed, no problems with booking, and a friendly atmosphere as always. It was twenty five years since I stayed in the hotel, and I am glad to say it has remained a pleasant experience. Many Thanks and the Complements of the Season to you.
