Good breakfast, very friendly staff.
Not clean poor old tierd beds shabby room bathroom was dreadful dirty leaking shower toilet only flused if you waited 30min after using it tea and coffee tasted like it was out of date overall it spoiled our weekend
room was great
fusty damp smell on entry !
The staff were so helpful, they bent over backwards to accommodate our needs!! We were a group of 20! Celebrating my husbands 40th birthday! We will be most definitely visiting again next month!!
The location suited me as it was very close to where I needed to be, but would not suit everyone (2-3 miles from the city centre). Good value for money
The hotel had a rundown appearance but suited me. There were things that needed attention (lights not working) that could easily be fixed at little cost.
Friendly reliable staff
Top floor room, poor shower wet and warm at the same time difficult. Noisey because the windows at the front do not close, or open properly
Location............the best thing about this hotel and the guy on the night shift is very helpful .
Dated needs a lot of work to bring the hotel up to a decent standard.
Staff very friendly & responded quickly to any requests. The facilities were good & it had everything you would expect for the price.
Strong smell of damp in the lobby & lounge.
Overall very pleased , as we pulled up thought wed made a mistake but was pleased with interior , staff brilliant, overall well pleased.
Exterior of building .
Friendly staff Comfy bed Good location
Bed side lamp didn't work. Was the electric socket next to the bed and not the bulb. Had to move lamp onto chair across room to get it to function. Shower was freezing Saturday evening. Sunday morning ranged between scalding and freezing. Cobwebs on curtains Toilet flush took ages to refill coffee stains in drawers Breakfast was £8 pp extra. We went to Tesco for ours Up stairs and entrance had a funny smell- like damp caravans. Stairs needed vacuuming Room very hot but couldn't switch radiator down. Slept with windows open but still stifling.
Only a £5 taxi to Liverpool centre. Pubs and shops a 2 minute walk. Relaxed with checkout times. Free parking in gated carpark.
Good location for bus service Friendly staff Good breakfast Clean and tidy
Massive pot hole in the main entrance to the drive way.
Staff most helpful and friendly. Breakfast was perfectly adequate with wide choice. The location was just right for me.
Looked derelict on outside. Dated decor. Blinds badly damaged and very dusty. Carpets badly stained. Lock on bedroom door very 'flimsy'. Had to put chair under door handle for security. Pillows uncomfortable. No security or staff on site overnight.
Staff was good
no soap in bathroom. What are expected to use for having a shower? Hand gel or toothpaste? Shut down the shower facilities if there is no soap! very very filthy. Seemed like a set for a horror movie, honest. dark, depressing, damp, dirty, cobwebs, ....
Very friendly staff and a good location a short taxi from the city. Easy free parking on site.
Bed wasn't the comfiest
not all that clean. Staff not very attentive
My son found an unused condom in the bed breakfast was very poor cold tea and sour milk buckets to collect the water dripping from the roof in the dinning room just not a comfortable stay
Location Is fab, loads of shops, bars and restaurants within walking distance and short taxi drive to Allerton Road.
Couldn't turn the radiators down/off, windows didn't stay open either resorted to propping one open with empty lager can. Room was far to hot and now the traffic noise added to the issue.
Nice large room with everything necessary. Also many agreeable public spaces on the ground floor. Friendly staff.
If complete silence is needed, opt for a room at the back;
It's just ok for the money for one or two nights.. No more.
A guy banging, kicking and shouting at the front door at 4 AM cause he couldn't get in as there is no one working at reception after midnight!!
Good value for money considering the prices of hotels in Liverpool at the week end. A quiet location with good parking.
Wooden floors in corridor were noisy.
The gent on duty "Brad" was very accommodating anything we needed he saw to and was very friendly. It's wasn't a glitzy place put value for what we paid. Close to the centre.
