Arriving in the dark it was difficult to see much, the weather had been bad so the morning allowed us to get a better appreciation of the views, Breakfast was good
I was not aware that our room had restricted headroom thus giving us a cramped feeling, I would not have booked this room if I had known earlier, I was told that we could have changed rooms but it was too late, end of our stay. There are a number of steps - not suitable for those with poor mobility.
Owner was very helpful. Electric went off and he even moved us to another room no trouble. Very peaceful and all the attractions were within easy reach. Really pleasant stay
Great breakfast the next morning. Good taxi links. Very helpful and friendly atmosphere.
Location was excellent and the room was great. The grounds looked lovely although we didn't have a chance to explore properly. Breakfast was lovely.
The parking is a little awkward but this is not the fault of the owners as there is very little that they can do about this. People who can reverse better than I can, may have less of a problem!
The breakfasts were excellent. The bed very comfortable.
Did not like the parking area very tight with space.
The location was very beautiful and I would love to return. the owners were very helpful, booking our evening meal for us. we ate the Mill-on-the-Wye and the meal was extremely good
We wernt very impressed with the breakfast ie the bacon was very disappointing and would have liked a few more mushrooms
Breakfast was superb
Very comfortable bed, good breakfast.
Expensive for B&B, Parking.
Especially liked the fact that the service was warm and friendly without making you feel crowded.
We had the superior double room with balcony, which is detached and has a fabulous view. The owners are helpful and the breakfast is excellent. This room also has TV and DVD. The lounge has a selection of maps, games, jigsaws, books and DVDs if the weather is bad.
Parking in the drive is tricky. I gave my credit card to pay and was asked if I had a debit card instead. It didn't bother us, but this property has lots of steps and the bathroom has a low sloping ceiling.
Location. Small room but very comfortable. Excellent restaurant and golf course nearby.
our host at the B&B was very helpful in giving information about the area (did not get his name)
I can't think of anything I did not like
Staff showed interest in guests and suggested local places of interest
great difficulty in parking. No TV
Comfortable bed, good hot shower and a lovely breakfast. And as for dinner at the nearby pub - sensational! Lovely views from the lounge which is family holiday heaven - books, jigsaws, games, DVDs, it's got everything to tempt the kids off their phones.
Parking a little tight, but we coped easily enough in a Mondeo estate.
The location, room and breakfast were all excellent. Andy is a great host who makes you feel very welcome in his home.
room and location.
Duvet too hot for the weather - and no thinner alternative in room.
Proprietor very friendly, breakfast lovely, location great
Nothing, cheaper room slightly on the small side but loved the design. Friendliness of owners inspiring.
Friendly, nice setting
The lanes, finding it. Ross on Wey is not that nice.
Excellent hosts. Very helpful, nothing too much trouble.
All good stuff
A little bit out of the way to walk to pub/restaurants
Peace and tranquility
A peaceful, beautiful country setting within the stunning wye valley. Ali & Andy are incredibly helpful friendly hosts. They recommended, what turned out to be, one of the best restaurant/pub I've ever been to.
Nothing not to like.
Really enjoyed my stay. I was immediately offered tea on arrival and given information about the local area. It was private and accommodating for late night returns during my stay.
I wasn't sure of the hosts names and I wasn't asked if I was happy with my room.
Nothing was too much trouble, lovely place, lovely views and very helpful with telling us what was in the area to visit. Great breakfast and very warm welcome of tea and biscuits when we arrived.
