A great find! We walked into St. Peter Port, would be challenging at night on the way back as sidewalks not constant however a lively taxi ride home worked! Front desk and breakfast team were delightful, food more than adequate. We were there for two nights/three days eating in their dining room the second night after a long and lovely day of sight seeing. Renting a car is useful however not for the faint of heart as the roads are narrow; more challenging at night. Would recommend and return to Green Acres. It is an older facility; we had two rooms one of which had no water in the bathroom on arrival. However this was quickly fixed; staff were very responsive and could not have been more helpful.

Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful in all departments. Hotel was ideally situated in the quite, picturesque countryside. Having visted there before, we will definately visit there again. Room was well catered for and clean. Food was excellent and great value. Best of all no kids!!!! The only thing that was missing from our otherwise excellent room was a bidet in the bathroom.

Clean, comfortable and good service. I would reccomend it for a stay. Decor is dull in dining and lounge and bar areas - straight from a 1960's B 'n B (ok I know this is subjective). Also when staff are clearing meals from Bar area at night they should be instructed to take these straight back to the kitchen and NEVER dumped for any reason next to Reception. I saw this on arrival on 25 August and it looked awful.

Very friendly hotel the staff were helpful and polite and nothing was to much trouble for them - would recommend this hotel for a quite relaxing stay. Beds were extremely hard and the curtains in room 213 need some attention as they kept falling down, quick fix but I must admit I forgot to to mention it to the staff, so my fault here.

Friendly and efficient staff, value for money, excellent food and nice location. Noisy pop music with often repeats not conducive to age of guests. However, when asked to turn it off they did so. Would be better to have light classical music. Hotel could do with a makeover. Decor is a little tired and jaded.

I am a single female, and do not want to spend my time stuck in a room reading a book or watching tv. Greenacres is single female friendly. There are public areas where I felt comfortable being by myself or being able to chat with someone if I felt like. It. My plane was late and I didn't get to the hotel until 9.15 pm. I had been travelling since 2.30 that afternoon and was hungry. They were not even able to rustle up a sandwich. I realised I was too late for the kitchen staff, but surely something - even a plate of biscuits could have been found. The staff were friendly, and helpful, but I booked a taxi for 8.45 on Sunday morning which didn't arrive as the taxi company was in Jersey. Luckily the manager drove me to where I wanted to go. But the hotel should have a connection with a local company, not have to leaf through the yellow pages. Also despite being August with temperatures of 30 deg. The pool cover was not taken off the pool, so had I wanted an early morning swim it was not possible.

Clean and comfortable, helpful staff and ideally situated for what I was in Guernsey for. More suited to the older visitor. I'm not young but felt I was compared to the people staying there. No facilities available in the evening as it would appear that everyone's in bed with lights out by 9.30pm
