Staff are really friendly. Great attitude! It was definitely a place for the more elderly holiday-maker, which made it a rather quiter environment than I would have liked.

The swimming pool and that at breakfast I could have a cooked meal even though I am vegan. I like how friendly the staff are too. The room we stayed in was a little dated and I have stayed at Travelodge for half the cost and better rooms

My husband & I stayed for 3 nights for a quiet & relaxing break with a little sightseeing/coastal walking. The food was excellent & enough to satisfy large appetites. Every single member of the staff & management had excellent customer care/service and we liked how they made you feel at ease. Liked how you had your room number on a table for breakfast rather than looking round for somewhere to sit. Liked the pool area with sunbeds, however weather didn't permit a dip! The fact you can walk to St Peter Port or get a bus round the corner from the Hotel. Fermain Bay is only a short walk, where you can join the coastal path.If you return the same way take an earlier path to avoid walking back up the hill to the hotel. My husband didn't like the noise from the aeroplanes as the hotel is only 10mins from the Airport, but after a while you get used to them.( I don't remember any night flights.) Our room seemed to be above the Kitchen/Staff area & we were awake when the staff started work around 6.30am! The fact that you had to pay £10 refundable deposit for the mouse to use the computer was a little niggle.

The service in which I received was second to none, the food was excellent and the location was one of the main reasons why I chose the hotel for my first stay two years ago and I had no hesitation in stopping there again.

The food in the evening was excellent. Location was great. Hotel staff friendly. The only thing with Green acres is the decor in the bedrooms needs updating, which I appreciate in a hotel this siize would be a costly excercise but I think it would add value and achieve a higher repeat business

The area is relaxing, no traffic, everyone very friendly. I would like to say though that the corridor to my room 205 constantly smelt of smoke. Also when coming back in the evenings, we would see dirty plates piled on trays, not very nice.

The staff were very attentive to my needs, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was very clean, food was excellent as was the restaurant/bar service. I normally travel to Guernsey once a year, from now on I plan to use Green Acres ebery time. I misplaced my hotel receipt, so I sent an email asking for a copy. That was on saturday 23rd. I have not yet received a reply. Hopefully a reply will arrive in the next 24/48 hours.

The Hotel staff in every department were really lovely and helpful, giving out information about buses and places to visit. I especially enjoyed the dining room staff. They were attentive, friendly and good humour. The location was good. Close enough to buses and far away from "city" noises, All in all, a great place to stay. I hope one day to return and stay longer. I certainly will recommend Green Acres to my freinds. Thank you for a very pleasant stay There was nothing I disliked

The food was excellent and also very polite, attentive service in the bar. Might have been nice to have just a few small extras in the room to go with tea and coffee - E.G. a couple of biscuits and the option for an instant hot chocolate. Nothing else really!

We liked the food very much - excellent breakfast and evening meals. For the most part there was good service and the staff in the restaurant and bar were all friendly, helpful and professional. We didn't like the blankets on the bed, would prefer a quilt. Also the blanket was put on sideways so it fell off during the night. We changed it so that the bound edges were top to bottom but the housekeeping staff changed it back again so we had to remake the bed before we slept in it!The service in the restaurant was very good, but on the one night we chose to eat in the bar with guests, the meal was very slow in arriving. The barman was very good and explained the circumstances but I felt that we were being discirminated against because we were in the bar and that we might have received better serivce in the restaurant.

The Food, which was excellent. Plenty of it, good choices, varied menu and well cooked. Pleasant dining room, with polite friendly staff. The lounge was pleasant to sit in. The information room was good with plenty of leaflets and internet access available. Nice quiet area, you would need a car unless you wewre a keen walker. Bedroom furniture could do with a bit of updating, but bed was comfortable. No lift for first floor but some bedrooms on ground floor, though one single lady in our group would have liked a walk in shower, as has limited movement, though I had not booked a room for a disabled person.

The hotel is situated in the countryside and is within walking distance of St Peter Port, which is what we needed after eating the excellent freshly prepared food. However if anyone thinks shopping is going to be less expensive than the uk mainland forget it - prices are the same. We thought the bedrooms looked tired and in need of decorating.

We were made extremely welcome and all the staff were friendly and attentive. Because it had been many years since we last stayed in Geurnsey we had difficulty in finding the hotel. The lack of road signs made it more difficult.

The weather was fantastic which meant we really made use of the outdoor pool and facilities. The staff were so friendly and helpful and I would definatly stay there again. The only downs are that the rooms are rather dated and it is about 25 minutes walk from town but neither of these things were a problem to us but maybe for older guests or times when wether is not on your side. All in all and excellent hotel and would definatly recommend staying here for good value for money. Also the food here is lovley.
