Tenby is a lovely place with a few nice pubs and reastaurants/cafes - normal shops for that type of area - not actual banks but a couple of cash machines are about - Gets too busy in the summer but just before and just after are imo the best times to go - the beaches are lush and well kept - Don't drop litter etc as there are enforcement officers wondering about - even if by accident you will get a £150 fine :(

Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast.
Lovely town on the Pembrokeshire coast. So much to explore with some of the best beaches in the UK. Lots of cafes & restaurants, gift shops & independent suppliers, as well as some higher end chain stores. This wasn't my first visit & will not be my last.

Tenby is very clean and beautiful. There is a large selections of cafe/restaurants to eat at (we found it easy to book a table on line)customer service so so friendly and accommodating and the food itself reasonable and delicious. The
Lots of fabulous independent shops to wander around as well as your little Tesco and Sainsburys etc. The Coach and Horses did probably the best Surf and Turf ive ever tasted and The Qube an excellent steak too,
Beaches - 3 main beaches; North, South and Castle Beach all beautiful and unique - a pleasure to visit -great to visit when the boats are running to Caldey Island etc,
Tenby is very accessible and easy to find your bearings and its just lovely walking along different alleyways and getting the beautiful view of the sea at the end,
Tenby an excellent base, we visited Saundersfoot on this occasion and on other stays have visited Narbeth, Oakwood Park and Folly Farm.
We have visited various events on NYE and have found a lot of the time quite nervewracking by amounts of people and not well organised - Tudor Square fireworks quite the opposite , well organised , family friendly and so much fun - 100% recommend,

Tenby has beautiful beaches to use for all seasons. wether walking along in winter or lazing on in summer. The town has lots of coffee shops and plenty of bars and restaurants.....lots of little gift and craft shops. and of course in summer the boat trips and day trips to caldey island. The winter is quieter ofcourse. but if you enjoy less bustle and walks. there are villages all around to visit also.

Favourite restaurants were Twelve (tapas) and the Plantaganet (Sunday lunch)
Favourite cafe was Vista. (Coffee with a view and excellent service)
Next time I go to Tenby, I will return to these restaurants and Vista cafe.
The Farnham Hotel is super from the location, sea view, gorgeous big room, super comfy bed, great continental breakfast with choice of eggs and Simons excellent welcome and nothings too much trouble attitude. The Hotel is a stones throw from car park ( altho you can park for free on the side streets) and the gorgeous expanse of South Beach. Easy walk to Tenby Town, harbour and all the cafes, bars and restaurants. We will definitely stay again.
It is a lovely place, little nooks for reading and sitting as well as a beautiful garden and the breakfast feels special. The waffles were loved by the kids. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are just right and I'm fussy when it comes to pillows. Lovely waterfall shower too! The staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. We had dinner at the Heywood Spa Hotel next door, would highly recommend as you don't have to go far.
We had a clean, quiet main floor room at these self/catering apartments. Looked on the sea and room was very nice size for two of us. King bed, galley kitchen and bathroom with small shower. Main window has a glaze which helps with privacy but best views are a quick stroll across the street. Staff at Charles Hotel where check-in friendly, welcoming and the amenities of hotel open to Carnock guests. Great spot to explore Tenby from.
The room was clean and contained all the necessary facilities. It is conveniently located close to the station and a short walk away from the beach as well as the town centre. Peter is an extremely nice and friendly host who arranged for a good breakfast in the morning. He also gave me good suggestions for sightseeing around Tenby. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would love to go back if possible !
Lovely big room with everything that we needed - with a large seating area. Exceptionally tasty breakfast - help yourself to fresh fruit and cereals, plenty of coffee, and a great cooked breakfast. Fresh farm shop produce. Very friendly and helpful hosts. The house is within a short walking distance of all the beaches, shops and restaurants that Tenby has on offer. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Great location on the seafront, with a stunning sea view from our bedroom over the beach and across to Caldey island
Room was very comfortable
Breakfast was delcious - we enjoyed the seagull on our windsill who came to watch - but don't feed him !
Town is a short walk away to go for dinner etc. or walk round the harbour or on the beach
Tenby is one of the most lovely towns in Britain.
Location is excellent close to Tenby and car parks. Beach close enough to walk into Tenby. Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order unlike some 4 and 5 star Hotels where breakfast is kept warm! Staff very friendly and welcoming. Car parking is provided at this hotel unlike many others in the area where you have to compete for a space in a public car park.
Everything was perfect from the welcome at Reception to the meals (which were good value and delicious), the staff in the restaurant who couldn't do enough to ensure we had everything we needed and the setting of the hotel with its beautiful gardens and views across to Tenby Harbour. I would highly recommend this hotel.
The view from the hotel itself was amazing! Unfortunately, we did not have a sea view room but that was fine.
The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was good. We booked a family room, as that was all that was left at the time of booking, so we had lots of space.
The food is excellent and service is quick. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Overall fantastic value for money, in a lovely quite part of Tenby, and I would strongly recommend the Heywood Spa Hotel to all my friends. We will be booking again for this September.
This is an exceptional guest house. Great location that is very close to rail station and everything in Tenby. Great hosts who are friendly and knowledgeable about all related to visiting Tenby. Breakfast is amazing. Room comfortable. Very, very clean.
The location of the hotel was in a great location only a ten minute walk into Tenby.
The cooked breakfast was of high standard with a selection of cereal yogurt the room was clean and spacious and the staff were polite and curtious.
The breakfast was delicious, many different choices not available at other hotels. The location couldn't be better, right on the esplanade with stunning views, very easy walking distance to the town centre, only a few minutes away.
Staff very friendly - especially at breakfast. The breakfast was really good - plenty of choice. Room was spotless - nothing to complain about. Hotel was ideally situated for us to explore Tenby and the surrounding area
Lovely spacious room with a large bathroom, located within walking distance of Tenby for restaurants and beaches, with parking and we could bring the dog, a very homely and friendly place to stay
Prime location at an affordable price. Dog friendly with no questions asked. Clean and comfy beds. Exceptional views of iconic Tenby scenery overlooking the harbour! Right in the centre of town.
