Narrow stairway No door handles Small TV screens No safe on rooms Noisy bunk beds in family rooms
We liked the girls and how pleasant they were and made sure we had everything we needed and on arrival and departure they helped us with our cases and always had time to stop and chat. breakfasts were fabulous and excellent service. Catherine and Clive Smithson, Leeds
There wasn't anything not to like!
room was a good size, toilet/shower room was big for a blackpool hotel, freeview tv and good drink facilities.
someone was banging one someones door for a good half an hour at just past 4am in the morning which was not good
Staff were gd and breakfast was gd
Bunk beds were broken bins were never emptied the travel cot wasn't clean the bedding wasn't changed shower kept over flowing
I liked the friendly staff
I didn't like the size of the family room or the size of the ensuite the room wasn't very clean I had a dirty pillow case stiffed down the side of the wardrobe and the ensuite wasn't cleaned at all it had hairs everywhere and it had dust on top of the toilet the tiles in the shower had black mould and the grouting was pink in result of it not been cleaned for a while the pillows were unfit to sleep with as they had brown stains on them the duvet so paper thin on all beds in the room and the room were far to warm and had no fans in them to help cool the room down and the cups on the morning tray were also dirty would definitely not stay there again and wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone
From the moment we arrived the staff were great, very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was good and the atmosphere in the bar in the evening was warm and friendly
The bed was comfortable, Gemma and Kim were very welcoming and provided for our every need. The breakfast was amazing in the morning and the location was brilliant.
Room and bathroom not clean. Single bed wore done as springs were coming through. Light shades were really dirty. Razor in sower from the last occupier
Poor decoration, poor standards of cleaning. Overall would not recommend this hotel or even re visit.
It is what it is for your money
We,ve stayed here 6 times now and always found the staff great, they will do anything to accommodate you.
The only thing we didn't like on this occasion was the bar was shut all day and night Sunday, this has never happened before, we are a group of friends who go to blackpool for a boozy weekend and have enjoyed staying here because we can have a drink in the bar before we go out and when we get back, this really spoilt our stay, I do hope they change this or we will be staying elsewhere which would be a shame because we have always loved our stay at the greenmount .
It was close to everything friendly staff when there
Bathroom to small no towels in room no changing of sheets while staying in rooms no remote for tv so it was always on E4 not goodi
location to beach was good would recomend for couples but not family `s as rooms were to small
there was no changing of towels so only had 4 towels for the 5 days we were there asked for some more but didnt get any as it was 2 adults in room and 2 kids it was hard to keep towels dry
Location was the only +point.
Rooms look nice on the Internet, but was really disappointed when we got there. Wasn't very clean mould in bathroom, bleach all over towels, dusty, hairs in bathroom sink shower bedding. Not nice :-( and really need to get some decent mattresses as could feel every spring..
Gemma and kim are fab and go out of their way to help with anything. Very close to the sea and all Blackpool has to offer. We got parked outside ( free parking) Lovely Breakfast freshly cooked. Children made very welcome. Can not wait to return :)
Saying bye :(
great staff (thank you Kim, Gemma and liam) total value for money, great breakfast, great service fantastic atmosphere. nothing was too much trouble.
I had to come home
Staff helpful and friendly
Could do with a better mattress (room 6)
Greeted by friendly staff. My children were very impressed with the bunk beds
The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired, beds were very uncomfortable.
Very friendly staff and good size room.
Did not get change of towels and bed linen for 5 days
Arrived late & staff was very unwelcoming, even though we were full of apologies as the trainlines were down & flight delay & the rooms are very sml. Breakfast - dried up egg, sausage dry, hash brown not cooked properly, toast & fresh orange great though & girl taking breakfast orders was lovely!!
gemma and kim were excellent hosts, very welcoming and helpfull. could not have been better situated for all attracions.Would recommend to others.8 out of 10 grandkids said 10 out of 5
Bed was a bit lumpy and shower area could do with a bit of T L C but on the whole very good
Staff were really friendly and would do anything to make our stay worth while anytime of day or night. Breakfast was enough to see us through till dinner. Perfect locations close to the central pier. I recommend this B&B to everyone, families and couples
The abruption of the B&B manager, found him to be quite rude and forward. But the rest if the staff are brilliant
We stayed at the greenmount hotel for 4 nights with our 2 young children and will definately stay there again. The location of the hotel is great just a 2 minute walk to the seafront. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic setting you up for the day. The staff were extremely helpful and we were very well looked after during our stay. Would definately recommend staying there, by far the best hotel in blackpool.
Breakfast was great
I felt the room could have been hovered a lot better as the kids found an empty take away box under the bed with food in it, a sock and someone's drink bottle. This freaked me out as the kids had been playing and found this stuff. Also the staff could have made themselves more available in the evening when it came to the bar facilities. No ice, no money for change
