Good room size, great bed, facilities were not over complicated. Good breakfast but would have liked mushrooms.

Resident of next room played their TV quite loudly until 3:00am - could not sleep. No one answered phone when I dialled zero. No one at reception to speak to.

Clean, closevto lovely quaint town centre with plent of barscand restaurants and considering no staff at weekends plenty of fresh towels and coffee etc to replenish stock available, conti breakfast fine too.

Staff very brusque when we arrived we went to checkout reception on route to town centre and were told in very clear terms we could not check-in until 3pm - we had no intentions of checking in until much later as we had plans in town, rather rude and assuming for my liking but there are no staff on duty at weekends thank goodness so all was fine!

Overall a very nice hotel, we stayed at the weekend so there were no staff on site but didn't seem to have an impact on our stay. Breakfast was good, an excellent choice of menu, overall a very nice hotel. I would stay again.

No seating outside the hotel if you fancied sitting outside in the fresh air rather than in your room. Might be an idea???

The room we had no12 ,( a twin room), needs a power supply, near the mirror in the bedroom, to dress and dry hair!

Excellent value for money, large, clean room and good breakfast. For the price it really was brilliant.

The location, price and ease of use. No fuss it was great for what we needed.

Didn't know where to get our breakfast in the morning as it wasn't very clear where to go.... Very minor issue

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was plentiful. The bed was comfortable. I liked having a tea kettle and a small fridge. I liked that there were used books available for borrowing.

The bed (the mattress creaked every time you moved giving a fairly disturbed night) and the fact that the second floor corridor was hot and stuffy and the en suite bathroom had a slight "drains" smell.

Really nice hotel, good self serve breakfast. Excellant value for money. Good location. The only staff we saw were at breakfast, that was fine as key allocation worked well. The staff we met were extremely good.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel, it was in a lovely setting, and easy to find. We had a lovely big room with plenty of extra chairs. We enjoyed the breakfast, it had plenty of choices. We will definitely use it again. It was good value for money.

We could not fault it at all, it suited our needs.

Breakfast finishes too early for holidaying guests, who want a leisurely start to the day.

breakfast had plenty of choice and very good. the room was spacious and well equipted.the bathroom also

the bed mattress needs replacing it was creeky and uncomfortable ..

it was easy to find as I was booking in late. It was clean, tidy and comfortable.

On the sunday it would have been nice to of had some breakfast but it wasn't available until 8 and we departed at 7am
