Har man bil er stedet ok, men kommer man med fly og ikke har bil til rådighed ligger Greenways Lodge for langt fra busruter, så man skal påregne enten en god gåtur (hvilket er upraktisk hvis man har meget bagage) eller ekstra £11 for at komme med taxi derud fra lufthavnen. Denne ekstra beregning gjorde faktisk stedet, i forhold til faciliteter, dyrt, synes jeg. Jeg forsøgte at ringe nogle gange... Afhentning i lufthavnen ville absolut hjælpe på stedets tilgængelighed for folk som blot skal have en enklt overnatning i Stansted. Desuden ville det være godt at gøre opmærksom på, at der skal betales kontant ikke kun for opholdet (det VAR der blevet gjort opmærksom på) men også på den lokale pub, som er den eneste mulighed for at få noget at spise indenfor gå afstand. |

Will pay for the taxi ride to Stansted in the morning Terrible signage. Hard to find at night. Signs in room and on door saying do not call them before certain times and after certain times makes if feel like you are a bother to them. Dislike that you have to pay 20% at time of booking. |

Please write at least 15 words It was clean and ok for an overnight transit. The early morning drop off was timely and efficient. The rooms were tiny, the receptionist showed us to an incorrect room and had to wait for the owner who wasn't available for some time, to sort out. The £11.00 taxi ride was unexpected. |

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. I did not like that there was nothing arround. We walked to the nearby pub, and they didnt accept credit cards so we ended up eating nothing. Also, the reception is closed from 12 pm to 4 pm. So we were left waiting for a few hours outside the lodge. |

I found my room very comfortable, the amenities good. I had a good breakfast at a very reasonable price. I also had free transfer to the airport the following morning. Late arrival at 10pm by other guests made it a bit noisy, but fortunately they settled down fairly quickly. Also, the alarm clock on my bedside table went off at 4.30am! this was not set by me but by a previous guest, I should think. |

No hassle, easy come easy go. No comfy chairs to sit and TV on the ceiling. A decent brekkie would not go amiss. Charging process iffy |

Close to the airport, comfortable. No, but one note - the info from the hotel said their recommended taxi would cost 7 pounds from the airport, but it actually cost 11. |

Mark's a friendly and helpful host and runs the place very well. I was stranded at Stansted following a cancelled flight, so the free phone and wifi was very useful. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean and tidy. The only downside was the price of the taxi from the airport to the Lodge - £11.50 for a 5-mile ride. |

Proprietor offered to drive me to the airport when the taxi I ordered took another party instead of me. The Taxi company acknowledged that the Taxi picked up another party. Small TV, limited channels, minimal bathroom facilities |

We had a very lovely and clean room, with very comfortable beds and bedlinen. Very nice and clean spaces bathroom. |

Generally a nice place - clean room and pleasant decor. Only stayed one night so can't comment about the surrounding area. The heating in the room was set too hot, and there was no way of turning it down since the adjustment buttons had been removed. Walls seemed a bit thin - could hear a lot of noise from neighbouring rooms. |

Welcoming, warm, comfortable, pleasant surroundings. Shuttle Bus provided to Airport. Very warm reception on Arrival and clear instructions re shuttle, and accomodation. Quite a distance from Airport but as mentioned Shuttle was provided by the owner of the Lodge who was very welcoming. Would recommended this lodge for sight-seeing as it is situated in beautiful English countyside. |
