personal attendance of owner and assistance as the next pub can be reached on foot within 15 minutes walk through the surrounding forests. The included very early morning transport to Stansted airport is organised properly and much help when travelling for business. |

The excellent tea & coffe making facilities and easy to use TV not requiring a degree to operate! Also the prompt and courteous transfer in the morning to the Airport at 5am. Very welcome and well organised. The remoteness from the airport and the fact that they did not say where the nearest railway station was when asked by email for directions on how to get to the hotel. |

the wife was very friendly, her husband very short. He did not take much time with us. The beds was not long enough, even for me who is 184 cm. My friend who iis 192cm did not sleep much. |

I couldn't find annything pleasant about my stay at this 'lodge'. Room was too small, smelly bathroom,no bathtub, awful floor rugs,so called 'free' airport transfer turned out to be 10£ received from staff to pay for a 12£ taxi in the morning!!!!! Avoid this 'lodge'... |

The hotel is near to the airport and although it is possible to hear aircraft, it is not too disturbing and also it is cheap. The owner was not particularly friendly, there is no breakfast available and there was no towel in the room. The bed was uncomfortable and the only place to eat within 2 miles closed its kitchen at 21:00 |

It was convenient for airport, free transfer, I was able to walk to nearby pub and found them friendly and the meal good. Directions were misleading, Pub has changed it's name . |

Good location, very close to airport The lodge is at the back of private house, but still they do not wish to check in after 11. The room is very tiny, more like a single, than a double. Tv located in the corner of the room, app. 160-165cm above floor level so as I woke up, I banged my head. |

Will pay for the taxi ride to Stansted in the morning Terrible signage. Hard to find at night. Signs in room and on door saying do not call them before certain times and after certain times makes if feel like you are a bother to them. Dislike that you have to pay 20% at time of booking. |

Please write at least 15 words It was clean and ok for an overnight transit. The early morning drop off was timely and efficient. The rooms were tiny, the receptionist showed us to an incorrect room and had to wait for the owner who wasn't available for some time, to sort out. The £11.00 taxi ride was unexpected. |

The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. I did not like that there was nothing arround. We walked to the nearby pub, and they didnt accept credit cards so we ended up eating nothing. Also, the reception is closed from 12 pm to 4 pm. So we were left waiting for a few hours outside the lodge. |

I found my room very comfortable, the amenities good. I had a good breakfast at a very reasonable price. I also had free transfer to the airport the following morning. Late arrival at 10pm by other guests made it a bit noisy, but fortunately they settled down fairly quickly. Also, the alarm clock on my bedside table went off at 4.30am! this was not set by me but by a previous guest, I should think. |

No hassle, easy come easy go. No comfy chairs to sit and TV on the ceiling. A decent brekkie would not go amiss. Charging process iffy |
