This family-run guesthouse is situated on the North Bay of Scarborough, with stunning views of the bay and castle from many rooms, and a 5-minute walk from the center of town. Ten minutes from the South Bay, this guesthouse is the perfect place to relax in after a busy day enjoying the attractions and scenery of the surrounding area. Proximity to the beach, sea front and the castle. English breakfast was very good with huge choices. Helpful & friendly owner. The family room was at the top of the house (not for the unfit). The facilities in the family room were not to the standard described on the booking website. The wifi was not available in the family room so it was a bit of a nuisance in the evenings - wifi was available downstairs in the reception/'bar' area. We had to wash the mugs used which did not look terribly clean when we arrived. After use, the mugs were not replaced either so we had to wash the mugs without washing-up liquid (too many stairs to run down and up again after a day out to get replacements). There were tiny insects in the family room although thankfully not biters. The bird mess on the window of the family room was off-putting even though the view was fabulous.

Very close to where we needed to be. Friendly welcome. Clean and warm Good teas/biscuits in room. Good shower gel provided. Lounge good (although we didn't have time to use it). Enormous breakfast Television too small to bother watching.

The scienery from the bedrooms was exceptional with excellent views across the north bay, the breakfast was excellent nothing was too much trouble for the host Martin, very welcoming, especially when you can in after a long day out,

Hosts friendly and helpful. Nearly all rooms have a sea-view. Room well stocked with hot drink stuff and kids well catered for with cots, beds and high-chair. Excellent shower. Steps to 3rd floor!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Greno, Comfy, Friendly, Clean, Good breakfast, Child friendly and close to town, beach and play areas. We were on the top floor and had a fab view.

The owners martin and cath was very welcoming and great with the kids felt very comfortable breakfast was fantastic exellent choice of food most definatly be going back couldnt of picked a better place to stay xx Nothing at all loved every bit off our stay.

Very nice B&B, very helpful and friendly owners and a great breakfast. Lovely sea front location and had a lovely view from our room on the first floor. There were a couple of little problems in our room which the owners sorted out straight away. Only that the twin beds were small twins, 2" 6' which doesn't give you much room to turnover when you're an adult!
