This family-run guesthouse is situated on the North Bay of Scarborough, with stunning views of the bay and castle from many rooms, and a 5-minute walk from the center of town. Ten minutes from the South Bay, this guesthouse is the perfect place to relax in after a busy day enjoying the attractions and scenery of the surrounding area. The breakfast was substantial and well cooked, not greasy. The decor was clean and modern. Also the tea, coffee etc provided in the room were very generous which is most unusual in a hotel/guesthouse.

Me and 3 friends had a brilliant stay in the Greno. The view is brilliant (apart from the rain, but nothing owners could do about that)! Breakfast really is good, not the usual b&b breakfast. All in all a great stay.

We had a warm welcome the owner told us a lot about the guest house his family and the town. He answered our questions with good local knowledge. The room was perfect with the view of the north bay. The food was excelent and service even better, we felt it was impressive but great value for money, will definateley stay there again.

The room we had was of a good size for a family and nice that the children had proper beds (bunk beds)! The Tea/Coffee station was very well stocked and the selection at breakfast was excelllent! The owner of the hotel was very friendly and welcoming! Would highly reccomend this hotel, especially to those with young children :-)

The scienery from the bedrooms was exceptional with excellent views across the north bay, the breakfast was excellent nothing was too much trouble for the host Martin, very welcoming, especially when you can in after a long day out,

Hosts friendly and helpful. Nearly all rooms have a sea-view. Room well stocked with hot drink stuff and kids well catered for with cots, beds and high-chair. Excellent shower. Steps to 3rd floor!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Greno, Comfy, Friendly, Clean, Good breakfast, Child friendly and close to town, beach and play areas. We were on the top floor and had a fab view.

The owners martin and cath was very welcoming and great with the kids felt very comfortable breakfast was fantastic exellent choice of food most definatly be going back couldnt of picked a better place to stay xx Nothing at all loved every bit off our stay.

Friendly, helpful proprietors who were willing to advuse us about travelling around using our free bus passes during our short visit, to the extent of printing out timetables from the internet. Free wi-fi, but I didn't have a printer with me, so I couldn't produce hard copy. No parking at the hotel, but the owners provided a parking pass for us, at a fee. Even then, we didn't move our car, as we might not find another space.
