Location was ideal for my purpose. As I opted for ensuite I was delighted with an excellent shower!

Very uncomfortable bed and only one thin pillow. Noise from the street made sleep very difficult. Room was small and uncomfortable. General decor in hotel was very run-down. Sink in bathroom was so small that it was difficult to brush teeth without spitting out onto the floor!

The hotel has bed bugs!!!!!! This is a very serious matter. The rooms were not cleaned every day, very poor hygiene.

The hotel has a good location because it is just next to British Museum.

My room is facing a garbage chamber and it is very noisy. There is a crack on the toilet table, and when I was washing my hands, water was just splitting from the crack. The bed in the room is not even and not very comfortable when you sleep on it. The tv motivator in my room seems run out of battery because I cannot switch on the tv. And I do not consider the shared bathroom and toilet as clean enough.

The location of the hotel was ideal. And it was cheap. The room wasn't a bad size either. It's close to eateries for breakfast so ok on that score.

The bed is so low to the ground and very uncomfortable. The shower and toilet facilities are very basic. Also the place could do with a lick of paint. You do pay for what you get though! I would say it is very much like a youth hostel, but I've actually stayed in a youth hostel with nicer facilities!

very affordable, easy connections all over London. Staff were always extra helpful. Very nice, seemed to want to do as much as possible to ease our way!

Dirty pillowcase. Staff who had no service skills. Had to leave my key at reception when going out. It was more like a grotty hostel than hotel. The whole place is grotty. Matress worn out. Shower a dribble and grotty.

Accepting the minor details like a blown light bulb, low shower pressure, and tatty decor, the hotel particularly benefits from a 24hr manned reception, friendly staff, and high standards of cleanliness. It is well-located as well.

Everything about this hotel was awful , apart from the location . I would never ever consider staying again nor would I recommend it on my worst enemy . I asked for a refund when I arrived as I was so appalled but they refused , my argument was it looked nothing like the website and therefore what I booked wasn't what I received but they wouldn't even consider it . There was mould on the walls , shabby decor , even two appliances wired into one plug which is unsafe ! How booking.com can sell rooms for this hotel is shocking

towels soap and toilet roll provided in my room. A sink, desk and TV in the room for just £40! Amazing. The 24 hr reception was much appreciated.

A lick of paint would do wonders to make the room look nice. Turning the mattress would help in order to avoid soft collapsed springs. A few more coat hangers would be good but I'm sure I could have got these if I'd had time to ask reception. I would suggest that it be made a little clearer that the online bookings is just a reservation and that you still need to pay on arrival, I can see how this could cause people to be annoyed

Absolutely horrible place to stay!!! Will never ever come back.

Having to negotiate a room full of dirty linen to get to room. I realise this was sold as a 'last room' but it was difficult to equate the above 'most helpful review ' to the basement room used.

Only positive remark I can come up with is a good location. The rest is really poor.

Worst bed ever. The room was'nt clean. The very small TV did'nt work. Bad service overall.

Great location, although not en suite there was a sink in the room and tables and chairs.

Poor temperature control on the water flow in sink and shower - got too hot!
