Gresham Hotel  

The best quality about the Gresham Hotel is it's location, as it was very close to Paddington Station and Bayswater Road.

I stayed in a single room which was exceptionally small, basically didn't have to get out of bed to reach the dressing table to out the kettle on!! The room was very noisy, I could hear people talking in the small hallway as if they were in the room with me. Continual noise from creaking stairs and floorboards. Only time it was quiet was between 1am-5.30am. Furniture and decor in desperate need of repair. Hotel managed to charge me a no-show charge, as they had made a double booking but in fairness did explain to me what had happened. I wouldn't recommend or stay in this hotel again.

The best thing about this hotel is it's location as it very close to the shopping center such ad oxford street and othe locations. Also the location of the hotel is very close to paddington station which I used the train to come and go to the heathrow airport directly

The bedrooms are extremely small and the beds are extremely not comfortable. They have to do something about it.

The tv in room did not work and we asked the staff for help, he promised us to come to check. But finally, he did not come. I think the staff is not very helpful. The lift is old, when the lift arrived our floor, we can hear the noise very clearly and it is very disturbing! Also, room and room are very close. When someone open the door of the room that next to us, we just felt he/she opened our door. It made us scare and worried about our safety. Moreover, we can hear the noise of bed(due to worn wood of bed, the sound just like 'E...E...') from upper floor! So, we can't sleep at the first night. All in all, the room is very old fashioned. When I entered the room, I really want to run out immediately. I will never stay in this hotel if I have choice.

The best thing about the gresham hotel was the price, the bed was clean & comfy, the shower was powerful & hot & the room was nice & warm, good location & close to restaurants & the tube, all you need for a few nights away on business

Location is really good (near paddington rail station, the tube) not expensive, but for payment of card you over pay 5%.

Room and furniture looked a bit tired and needed refurbishment - I would have expected better for a 3 star hotel

Location

No aircon, tv didn't work properper and was hard to see from bed as it was around the corner, two plug sockets in the room but they were used for the tv and cable so you couldn't charge phones, turn on kettle without turning off the tv. Ironing facility was very poor, ironing board set up on level one in a stairwell.

The hotel staff was very uninformed about things to do in London.

Ottima posizione, staff disponibile ad ogni richiesta, ci hanno cambiato la camera al primo giorno perchè entravano spifferi dalla finestra e ce ne hanno data una più grande e comoda. Da sottolineare la pulizia sopra la media, dati gli standard britannici.

Portavano via gli asciugamani sporchi ma non rimettevano quelli puliti, nonostante ciò bastava chiederli alla reception e ne fornivano immediatamente altri. Poche prese elettriche in camera, alcune stanze si trovano nei piani intermedi sui pianerottoli delle scale e quindi non direttamente raggiunte dall'ascensore, in posizione scomoda per chi ha molti bagagli.
