loved the lovely room allocated to us especially with the bay windows and the view did not like the bridal room thought it was very dark and no outlook but the bathroom was fab

Generally a good comfortable room, tv and facilities were good. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was very good with Haggis if you wanted it. Couldn't open the window in my room. Direction markers to room a little poor. Bathroom could do with a shelf.

- Breakfast excellent - Food presentation at dinner - Limited dinner menu - Limited bathroom supplies no shower gel or body lotion. These is available a body wash/shampoo which is more flexible.

Good situation, easy to find. Excellent breakfast with pleasant and efficient service. Comfortable bed and good room facilities. Spotlessly clean throughout. Great value for money at £30 for the two of us. Would certainly stay there again. Window would not close in the bathroom so it was like the Arctic in there,as it was below freezing outside. Also the message light on the phone flashed the whole time even though there was no message according to reception. We had to put a towel over it to stop it disturbing our sleep. Entry to reception rather difficult for those like me with mobility problems.

The staff were excellent, Stewart (who was everywhere) was exceptional and the young lady on reception, location and surrounding grounds, The weather, the building was inadequately heated. The restaurant was heated with ONE heater! Carpet in the QC room was dirty!
