Although I arrived late at night the owners were very welcoming and friendly. Value for money was excellent for room and breakfast. Good car parking and very comfortable room with all you need for a business stay.

Friendly and helpful host, nice big room and bathroom, good breakfast. We also appreciated the recommendation to go to dinner at the nearby hotel (Quicksilver) - the food was excellent. Fairly steep stairs, and the station is not close, but otherwise the accommodation was excellent.

Very good breakfast. Simple entry and exit - own house key as well as room key. Poor visibility of hotel sign. Steep hill on fast ring-road meant that the narrow entrance was hard to spot and negotiate if arriving by car.

It was available. Good breakfast. Small car park and the room we were given had a separate bathroom on a different floor, not en suite as booked. the choice was take it or leave it.

Excellent value for money. I had an extremely good cooked breakfast as part of a single room deal for £45. Staff were courteous and helpful.

Having travelled from Leicestershire, setting off at 5am, we arrived at the guest house at 9am. We were immediately made to feel welcome. The lady who greeted us apologised for the room not being ready, but as we expected it was still being cleaned from the previous occupants who had literally just finished breakfast. We returned within the hour to find our beautiful room all ready for us. We explained that we may be very late back that evening due to the nature of our stay and was told that this was no problem and were given a key to the main door. The following morning, after a very comfortable nights sleep, we arrived in the dining room to a wonderful breakfast selection. I would thoroughly reccommend it to anyone. Would love to go back for maybe a longer stay than just one night. Thank you to all the staff and the proprieters for making our stay so enjoyable. Absolutely nothing I didn't like!!!!!!!!!!

Fairly basic hotel - adequate for one night. There was nowhere to sit while waiting for a friend or taxi. There appeared to be no public room, which is acceptable in a small B & B but there was not a chair in the hall or even a bench outside. I had to sit on the stairs.
