Great city centre location, nice room with high ceilings
staff were lovely
need more tea bags in the room.
Excellent location with friendly knowledgeable staff. The room was a bit small but excellently fitted out an absolutely giant comfortable bed. Very good breakfast also
we go on a room only basis so we can come and go as we please staff are very helpfull and friendly never had any complaints with this hotel
Poor lift could only get 2 people in at a time as we were on the 5th floor this was not very good
Stayed I first floor so was quite noisy till late
The huge bed
The location of the Hotel, and the friendliness of the staff
The high price for a room
Very central. Staff very pleasant & helpful
Room on 2 floors bathroom very hot.
Very nice hotel clean, great location nice staff. Great stay.
Friendliness and efficiency of staff. Helpfulness when the lift broke down. Spacious comfortable room, good facilities. Central location. Interesting building.
Not really a dislike but breakfast wasn't as memorable as the rest of the hotel.
Fantastic hotel ,central location ,room and facilities top notch would definitely return here again.
Location. Only 10 minute walk from the station, 20 minutes to Radio Metro Arena. Grey Street has a variety of bars and restaurants and the Eldon Shopping Centre is 5 minutes walk. Our room was comfortable and bright, being a corner room with 3 windows.
The stairs carpet needed a good hovering and lose threads trimming off.
Staff were lovely and very friendly
The staff were great, so welcoming and helpful.
The only thing I could even slightly fault was the lighting in the room, which, as usual for a hotel, was very dim.
this hotel is ideal for a group of lads, willing to behave themselves while on the premises of course! What i loved about this hotel is that there was no hassel coming or going at anytime of night or whos with you....if you know what I mean which is always a plus;) The hotel rooms are very modern, comfortable, clean and has everything you need. The beds are amazing too. Also it is litterally a 5 minute walk from the main spots. Iv been on lots of weekends away with the lads and this hotel is by far the best one we've stayed in. It is a bit more expensive that other hotels in the area but 100% worth the extra few yo yos. Before i finish i would like to say that my group of friends are piss heads, but we always behave ourselves when staying in hotels and respect property. I suggest you do the same! Two thumbs up for this hotel, I will be back for Newcastle round 3!
You need a map to find your room, its a maize!
The staff were really quite nice and found most of them very helpful
The room was very noisy ,I was accused of smoking in the room and they charged £30 to my card but it was done before they actually spoke to me and no I didn't smoke in the room
Excellent amenities in room; and breakfast was excellent, with very attentive waiting staff!
Could perhaps do with 'freshening up' in relation to paintwork within room...
Location, staff and comfortable room with spacious bathroom
Breakfast not good value for money and quality of food not great
Everything about the hotel as indicated above
We couldn't use the TV as there was no remote control. I forgot to let the hotel know.
Warm welcome and check-out @ reception. Comfortable room. Freshly cooked breakfast to start the day. 5 minutes walk from the Monument and city centre.
Room soundproofing not ideal.
The fact that parking was in the multi storage car park and that the ticket for the night ran out at 8.00am which resulted in a car parking ticket; this should have been pointed out when you are booking in.
Location and staff were very friendly
Although modern fixtures and fittings, bathroom was a bit tired(grouting could do with a clean)
The hotel was very handy for the town and local restaurants.
It was very noisy in the street below us and we were woken up several times. The room was very small and the bed was uncomfortable.
