Very friendly welcome. Best possible location for both sea front and shopping. The breakfast was "the best"
Our bed was a standard double and we are not use to sleeping in a standard double bed.
very clean rooms with lovely beds, delicious breakfast and a nice room to make tea and coffee and eat lots of biscuits
Very friendly couple very helpful, nice and clean, breakfast was lovely, fruit and biscuits accessible 24 hrs
Would have been nice to have coffee, tea ect in room but was very near and accessible 24hrs
Free wi-fi Free tea/coffee bar area Genuine hosts Convenient for Brighton
Having to find a large enough space for car (street parking)
It was a very friendly guesthouse and the breakfasts were very innovative.
The very late night or very early morning noise from young people going home. Although not very good the earplugs helped a little. They can be found in the sitting room alongside the tea etc.
Whirlpool bath Welcoming and friendly greeting when we arrived. Nice breakfast The location of the Griffin. Both our Hosts Comfy Bed Over all a nice place to stay Definitely recommend it to people.
The noisy delivery trucks early in the morning.
The owner is very friendly. He let us checked in early and very helpful with all our questions. Breakfast is excellent, lot of choice, food is good and portion is generous.
There are pubs near hotel, and it got very noise at night. People were talking, shouting and yelling at each other every night for the 3 nights I stayed. This is not the hotel's fault and they provided us with plenty of ear plugs.
The breakfast were great, the owners also made our stay, they will go down well with foreign tourist.
Enjoyed our stay, rooms comfy, breakfast great.
Really enjoyed our stay. The owners were really helpful and made our stay enjoyable. They made you feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. Their cooked breakfasts were excellent with an interesting and delightful twist. The tea/coffee lounge was an added bonus and the ample supply of tea, coffee and biscuits at any time of the day was very welcome. We would recommend the Griffin and will certainly be going back there when we next visit Brighton.
Lovely Jacuzzi bath , near to the heart of Brighton ...Enjoyed the lovely breakfast, would use this hotel again.

Hosts were very informative. They were very helpful. Breakfast very good.
Although there was a lovely area to have tea and coffee there was no tea and coffee facilities in bedroom which we missed first thing in the morning.
Owners were really friendly. Overall relaxing stay with a great breakfast!
Just back from a four night stay and we had a great stay, this is a great quest house close to everything of interest, but probably the best thing was the breakfasts, not your usual fry up but a cooked breakfast with style,we will be back
Only one minor fault was my wife would rather of had a bath in the room but no big issue
The location in the middle of Brighton. Really good freshly cooked breakfast
There was access to making tea and coffee but would have liked to be able to have this in the room.
Very friendly staff, fantastic breakfast and great location. Owners very helpful and accommodating. We will definitely be back.
Friendly, clean, nice room, excellent breakfast.
Prefer a shower as well as a bath in the room. Bit noisy outside till fairly late.
After reading lots of reviews my expectations were high and it excelled my expectations, lovely owners and fantastic room
Keiran and Chris were excellent hosts. The room was beautiful, clean and well appointed. The jacuzzi was a very nice touch!! The breakfast was delicious. We will definitely be coming again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
We had a brillliant time, breakfast was excellent, people helpful and cheerful full of information, welomed us with champagne and the place was excellent and clean, highly recommended and we will def stay again, thanks.
The hotel is perfectly located in Kemptown, just one street up from the pier, and the owners could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The breakfast is cooked to order every morning. The room has a good size, when comparing to other hotel we have stayed in in England, and were clean and tidy.
It would be nice with a shelf in the bathroom, since the one that is there is a bit far up the wall for my use. It would also be nice to just have sheets, instead of a heavy duvet, during a hot summer.
Fantastic room, friendly knowledgeable staff... we will definitely be back!
Everything was perfect!
Lovely staff and great breakfasts.
Room at the front a bit noisy for business trip (not used to earplugs, though they are provided).
