Amhuinnsuidhe Castle is set on the banks of Loch Leosavay, offering a dramatic Hebridean setting on the Isle of Harris. This beautiful Baronial castle has lovely gardens and a restaurant.

All of it - Well Done!
Farky is a super host
I couldn't download my home newspaper to keep up with events back in Nova Scotia
View excellent, breakfast great.
About 3/4 mile easy walk to the Pier to eat out in the evening.
Great location. Very quiet. Staff was amazing. Very accommodating and nice. Good breakfast. The dogs!
WiFi was a bit dodgy, but that seems to be a Scottish theme.
Welcoming and attentive host, spacious room
Loch views , friendly obliging and hospitable host.
Spacious room compared to most B&B's. Excellent food and staff.
We were impressed by the level of comfort, the cleanliness and the attention to detail that contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Grimisdale appeared to be run in a relaxed and yet in a reassuringly efficient manner and the gorgeous scenery speaks for itself.
The shower was great, the staff fantastic and location beautiful.
Very comfortable stay in a well located B & B for the ferry, a local shop and a very good restaurant all within walking distance. Friendly welcome from our hosts and lovely guest facilities to relax in and enjoy.
Intermittent wi-fi in the bedroom

Lovely food, very helpful owner - put our bikes in his shed overnight.
Very comfortable beds. Clean environment. Beautiful views, yummy breakfast and the owners were lovely.
Actually I can't say anything I didn't like.
We had a great 2 night stay at the Grimsdale Bnb, the owner was very helpful, the house is lovely and very comfortable we def going to go back.
Very pleasant welcome and delicious breakfast Wonderful views from room Great shower
Great view from balcony
Could not get access until 4.30 despite being advertised as 2pm and although they knew we were leaving very early, too early for breakfast which we had paid for), there was no offer of a self serve uncooked breakfast or able to make even our own toast. There was no hot water in the morning for washing or showering.
Fabulous location with a great view over the lake. Comfortable lounge with large screen TV - ideal for World Cup football.
The bedroom was rather small although the bathroom/shower was fine. The room rate is very high, easily the most expensive we paid on the islands. The high cost of staying here is hard to justify. Also beware of being directed to expensive restaurants for evening meals. The Rodel Hotel restaurant is poor value.
Friendly and helpful
Room small but fine for overnight stay
Location excellent, welcome very good breakfast very good
Poor/no wifi signal. Not a major problem
Relaxing, friendly and convenient for trip to St Kilda.
Matress a bit soft for me (bad back) but got used to this on second night.
Host was friendly and helpful. Good breakfast. Waited for us to arrive later than expected at 10pm without any complaints.
From first to last we were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble and that we were made to feel most welcome. The dogs are big softies, the breakfast excellent and the house superbly appointed.
The scariest magnifying bathroom vanity mirror in the world. Oh I should not have looked (male in his 50's)
The friendliness and beautiful view lovely room and great breakfasts
there wasn't anything we didn't like
Farky & Danielle were so friendly & helpful to all guests & nothing was too much trouble. Their suggestions were always first-rate.
