Grinkle is surrounded by 35 acres of parkland and grounds, which are home to peacocks and other wildlife. It offers a lake, an award-winning restaurant, various activities and free Wi-Fi. The hotel’s restaurant uses fine, locally produced ingredients and specializes in fresh fish. Guests can chose from a dining menu or a bistro menu and the bar also serves snacks. The dining room has views of the lawn. Grinkle Park Hotel has retained some of its original features such as wooden paneling and embossed ceilings. The bedrooms are spacious and features free mineral water, bathrobes and slippers. There is a lot to do at and around Grinkle, including tennis, pool table, golf and hiking. The coast and the North Yorkshire Moors National Park are a short drive from the hotel and Guisborough is a 20 minute drive away. Parking is free at Grinkle Park Hotel. This was our second stay in 2 months-only one night this time, for the North Yorks Moors Railway at War event. We love the spacious, comfortable rooms, the exceptionally friendly staff and the generally relaxed environment of the hotel.

We had been before but many years ago and decided to stop off for a one night stay after visiting friends further north. Our stay was very enjoyable, the staff were very friendly, the room was very comfortable (we had a complimentary upgrade) and the food was extremely good. The grounds are lovely to walk round and looked beautiful because of the changing colour of the leaves. We look forward to being able to stop off again in the future but will make it a longer stay.

It's traditional standards I feel that the " wine by glass" menu should include smaller measure costs rather than just the cost of a 25ml glass. It is misleading.

Location relaxing and peaceful.Staff very friendly and helpful.We were given a room upgrade on arrival,had a spacious room with lounge area and large bathroom.Really enjoyed our stay and will definately return.

It was an extremely comfortable hotel with very pleasant and attentive staff. We had a splendid stay there and would recommend it to others. We found the Loftus address on the web confusing and found it difficult to locate the hotel, as it is tucked away in the countryside.

The hotel is in beautiful grounds with lovely mature trees. It is quiet, extremely comfortable and the food is beautifully cooked and presented. It was a good base for exploring the coast and the n Yorks Moors. There are sometimes bbd deals to be had out of season. We wish we'd known that.

It was a fabulos stay in a rural country hall. All the staff were pleasant and welcoming. Nothing was too much for them to do ( even down to burning my toast....I Love burnt toast) Thanks M. Very relaxed atmosphere. Clean well presented. I'd highly recommend it to any one. Can't wait to go back. Original stay was for 3 nights, but soon made it 4.

The situation, gardens, pleasing to the eye, frielndly staff, comfortable room good food, and good access to the surounding areas Small single beds, theres enough room for them to be 3/4 beds if you need to make rooms twins, there was in ours anyway. Other than this it seems to be a very well run and comfortable hotel, will definately return.

Very comfortable and relaxed ambience - the world had slowed down in a good way. A little disorganised at breakfast - no tables set for 4 when we came down and staff slow to take tea / coffee orders.
