Very nice and helpful staff.
room was warm and clean with new bathroom and breakfast was more than adequate perfect
Being close to the town (5 min walk), showers etc kept very clean, fresh towels regularly dealt out
I struggle to sleep anywhere but my own bed but I was presently surprised that I enjoyed a good nights rest on both evenings. My stay was enjoyable and I will be back again next year.
I would like to have hash browns on my full English next year please it really bugged me that they were missing both mornings. :)
Breakfast good. Bathrooms good
Parking a little difficult
Very friendly reception. Upgraded to room in Hotel. Helpful staff. Convenient for centre of town and for airport.
Lots of stairs! A bit warm at the top of the house.
Staff were helpful.
The rooms were a bit noisy. Carpet in room was dirty and the room smelled of damp. Shower room and toilet left in a mess by other people staying there. The breakfast was good and a wide choice, staff were helpful . Did think it was a bit overpriced for what you got.
It is not very charming but at least it is clean and relatively cheap. It is generally quiet.
It is so far from the ferry terminal and the town center. There are not much to see along the way. The reception is not really there but in another hotel (Abbey's). It should be specified in the booking information.
The property needs refurbishing - it is worn - poor value for money.
The location was good. The staff, although based at the hotel round the corner, were pleasant and friendly. The shower and toilet facilities were clean and pleasant.
I wasn't prepared for it to be so much like a youth hostel. I would have preferred my own shower (but the shared one was clean and pleasant to use). I didn't sleep very well but that was mainly due to the other guests using the communal lounge to chat in after they had been out drinking, not due to any fault of the staff or the hotel.
good value for money when it comes to Guernsey, good location, good for young travellers who don't need as much comfort
For the money we paid it was very good could not knock it at all
could have had another socket in room for phone charger
We travelled to Guernsey for a social event, it was very clean and comfortable, breakfast was good the first day, but not that great on second day it was close to town and a good meeting point, when we arrived there was no parking spaces left so the guy behind reception helped us with our bags, and said he would pack the car for us after he moved another one which was excellent and very helpful
We had to go to Abbey court for breakfast and park, it was only 50 metres away but we would have liked breakfast in the b and b were we was
The manager couldn't be more helpful! 10/10 for him. We were accommodated from before we arrived to the moment we left. Any request wasn't too big for him to deal with. Even helped us to get around the island - in the form of drawing on a map for us.
The breakfast staff were unorganised, over out three days there here are some of what I experienced - they gave me a pot of tea without a cup to put it in. After 25 mins I had to ask to be served. There was no glasses for the orange juice, the bread for toast was in date but had mould on it! The only other thing that I didn't like so much was the noise from other people so late at night, but that is nit the fault of the staff. If breakfast service was improved then I'd have no faults at all on this place.
Very well presented room and great breakfast
Very large room. Plenty of coffee, tea, milk etc in the room. Very nice choice for breakfast (although no porridge!). Near five bus lines for relatively convenient transport. Although the room was at the front, we were not bothered by the traffic.
No toilet or shower in the room, and there was a problem with the toilet down the stairs. Shower on the lower level not convenient either, but found a better one as well as a bathroom with working toilet upstairs. Difficult internet access at night. Long climb up the hill from the town if you miss the last bus at 10pm (except Fri and Sat).
Simple, clean (including the shared facilities) and efficient. Great choice of breakfast options which was welcomed surprised. Exactly as advertised.
Hospitable staff and comfortable accommodation.
Difficult to find. Suggest to put a larger sign post.
Good options for Breakfast .. Decent shower Well situated to catch a bus all over the island!
Dark stains on the carpet the moment i walked into my room. A tv and aerial that has no signal .. why have one if you can't use it. A little mould on one of the bathrooms ceiling. Gave off that musky damp smell.
Room next to shower/WC - too noisy
Prompt service, lovely room for our brief needs. Beds most comfortable with two pillows, something not always found at other establishments. Really everything one requires regarding welcome & facilities after a tiring day of enjoyment. James Avenell.
Well positioned for travel around the island. Near bus stops. Clean comfortable bedroom. Good breakfast.
Shared bathroom but booked it knowing that.
Daily Clean Towels
Mouse in the room stained carpet holes in the lampshade up a steep hill and noisy traffic. TV reception bad
clean sheets and bedding
No reception at hotel Liability insurance displayed being 2010 expiry date ?
Friendly staff, good walk up the hill!
