The hotel has recently been refurbished throughout the public areas, maintaining the classical Victorian style, whilst upgrading to modern standards. A new sun lounge and entrance has been added and the bar has now been completed.

Evening entertainment is enjoyed every night of the year in the Ballroom with dancing, cabaret, organists and party night.

The hotel is fully licensed and has a lift to all floors, serving 85% of the bedrooms.

Travel information

By Car:
- Take the M5.
- Join the A361 to Ilfracombe.
- Once in Ilfracombe, follow the signs to the seafront (Wilder Road).
- Proceed along Wilder Road.
- Continue over the traffic lights.
- Approximately 100 metres further along on the right-hand side is the Grosvenor Hotel.
