Warm and clean. Lovely place. Great value
The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We ate in the bar on the evening and was easily some of the best food we've had and excellent value for money.
Good location and good breakfast.
Only a very small room and noisy when band playing on a Saturday night. Didn't mind too much as watched the band ourselves.
The welcome was friendly, the room comfortable, the bar meals and breakfast excellent, the location ideal. First-class in all respects - we would certainly like to return.
hotel facilities, menu and food, location, cleanliness, hospitality,
we have been to the Grosvenor before in 2014, and as before this stay was excellent, room, lounge, food and staff all excellent
there was nothing we could finf any fault with
Was made to feel very welcome the minute we walked through the door. Was shown to a very large clean room with amazing views. Breakfast was lovely will deffently return.
The hotel was very clean, the room was lovely with great facilities, the bed was lovely and comfy. A great stay for a fab few relaxing days away. We would defiantly go back.
The staff are brill the place is warm and friendly enjoyed will be back
spotless clean room, free wi fi, staff excellent, breakfast lovely and everything you would want to eat. personal service, quality products. Would definately recommend to others. Also drink is much cheaper here in the bar than further down the hill !!
Only thing I would comment on is that there is not a latched door up to the bedrooms area if the hotel. Fine at this time but may worry if pub was crowded . This of course is a not a negative comment, just an ibservation.
Location Lovely food Friendly staff
Inclined to be noisy at night as music from the bar could easily be heard in the bedroom.
Very comfy bed, the room was nice and warm, excellent value for money and a lovely breakfast. It was also convenient that there was a bar and restaurant downstairs.
The free view didn't work well in the room and kept loosing signal and so made it hard to watch tv.
Great, welcoming bar staff! Lovely morning breakfast! Uphill walk but great location!
Its situated close to all amenities very friendly staff good breakfasts.
No undercover smoking area outside.
Warm friendly staff, good food and beer. Home from home, warm and cozy without being to fragile to have young children running about.
Having to go home
Atmosphere Welcome Bar used by local community. Pub quiz, dominoes, etc. Beer was well kept, food was good and served quickly.
The staff are very friendly. They don't pressure you to use their restaurant. Ideal location. The rooms are massive and have great views. Excellent value for money. Gorgeous full English breakfast.
