Everything about this hotel was just great. Location, space, room and breakfast.
good clean room, nice decor and comfortable bed,all you need for a three night stay.Food was lovely and good value, nice position.
room was over bar area and live music went on too late, not ideal if you wanted to get to sleep.plumbing quite noisey.
The location was amazing as we had never been to Robin Hoods Bay before. The hotel was very clean as was our room the staff where very friendly and the food was spot on.We walked down the steep hill and through the little narrow streets at night where it was deadly quiet but it was all lit up, well worth the visit..
The location of our room as it was above the hotel kitchen it was noisey up till 10.45pm as they were cleaning up, then again early in the morning preparing breakfast so avoid room number 2 if you can
Local to the town centre fantastic value for money on a last minute deal
The water was too hot and after a long days walking we desperately needed a nice shower, it was almost scolding
clean freindly staff very helpful. Lovley bar meals at a reasonable price.Would go back no problem.
We were visiting family in Robin Hoods bay, we booked that morning. Hotel was clean comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. We ended up staying a second night. Breakfast was Excellent and set us up for the day. We didn't eat our evening meal in the hotel but there seemed to be an extensive choice available. We would definitely book this hotel again.
friendly staff .. Disappointed with shower !!! Not the nicest room quite dark with only velux window Room 9 ! Food great value esp breakfast .. Thank you .. No one around on our departure - lack of reception
Pub style food was ok Room was quiet even when a band was playing in the bar walking distance to village & bay area
no parking - had to use carpark across the road & ensure payment was made each morning.
Good all round friendly atmosphere, good quality breakfast with varied menu. Bar meals and beer very enjoyable!
Location. Clean spacious room.
Low water pressure for the shower.
Food was excellent value staff friendly good position nice to have benches outside when sunny
Good pricing for the room, the bar prices were the cheapest in the bay, there was a good choice for food and there was very good portions. Room was clean and comfortable with a flat screen TV and a sofa.
The only things we thought could be better were the lighting in the room, my wife didn't like it when getting ready to go out. The only thing I would have changed would be the full English breakfast did not include mushrooms or black pudding.
Good value for your money. We will definitely be revisiting, really enjoyed the weekend break despite the weather. Great breakfast with plenty of choice. The bar food was really good as well and reasonably priced.
The room and bathroom were immaculately clean. We had a corner room so it was very light. A good choice of food for breakfast.
The entrance hall was rather dingy. There was only one bedside lamp. There is no car parking on site, but the main car park is only across the road. However, it costs £5.50 per 24 hours. Some noise from the bar below at night.
the position was very good. It was our choice whether we went up and down the hill! We absolutely loved Robins Hood Bay.
nothing to dislike apart from the fact that the room could have been a bit bigger.
The steak was cooked to perfection would reccomend to all.Hotel lovely staff nice and friendly.
No carpark at hoel
Live Music in Bar Tasty Breakfast Clean room
Bit of a trek back up the hill but can break this up in various pubs/hotel bars :)
It just felt very comfortable being at this hotel. Bed was hard, th way I like it. The location is perfect -- just when a walker arrives in town. Post office is nearby, as is The Wayfarer, perhaps the best restaurant in town. However, we ate at the Grosvenor on the first night and were happy with the meal. We had to catch an early bus to Scarborough, an, because we would have missed breakfast, we were given enough pieces of a breakfast to keep us well fed.
Good pub stay. Nothing a problem. Good pub food we ate there both evenings. Excellent Steve Phillips and Rough Diamonds live band topped off our visit. Very clean rooms and staff very friendly. Would stay again. Good value.
Room a bit small but only stayed a couple of nights and we were made aware of it before we booked.
Location (Cleveland Way) Food Bar Bedroom
The place was friendly and comfortable
Sitting all together at the breakfast table
Large comfortable room, excellent food. Ideal for what we wanted.
Shower a bit feeble!
disappointed that the restaurant was not serving evening meals. we had to go into the bar for a meal. apart from that we did enjoy our stay
every member of staff very friendly and made us welcome
struggled to get a table for evening meal
Enjoyed the food, staff all very friendly. Very easy to find .
People smoking outside all exit doors, smell drifted in while eating.
