The Carlton offers bright, airy rooms with free Wi-Fi, 0.5 miles from the centre of Rugby. There is a stylish, modern bar and the restaurant uses fresh, quality produce.
Score from 160 reviews Very good
The Coventry (Binley/A46) Premier Inn has incredibly comfy beds, an on-site T.G.I. Friday's restaurant and a location close to the M6 and M69.

Friendly staff especially considering a late check-in and early breakfast
Single room badly in need of modernisation. No bedside light bulb and no light shade on the ceiling light. Duvet only just wide enough to cover the single bed and 2 very small pillars. Shower in bath but no curtain or shower mat, toilet seat a poorly fitting cheap plastic replacement, water only look warm.
Tiles off in bathroom no hot water bath dirty toilet was thick with brown scum curtain rail not fixed to wall very old furniter only mirror was in bathroom left as soon as we woke up breakfast was expencive for what u got would not go back unless huge changes were made
the rooms where tiny
Large bedroom. Good shower - however trying to figure out how it worked took some time! Hotel has great character.
Room was very stuffy and warm. Carpet looked worn. Bed was too soft. If you have issues with your knees, there are too many stairs!
Excellent service from the staff. The lady on reception was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was clean and very comfortable and just what we needed for an overnight stay
Convenience to where son works.
Food is great Indian Cusine, also English speicals are very good. Satff great extremely Friendly, and greets by Name
Breakfast service Bathroom facilities Cost
Staff is helpfull and friendly, the holte is old, the rooms are small, but clean. Dont expect one of those modern-plastic-unpersonal hotels. The restaurant is just great, dont miss it!
nothing to complain
Staff very helpful. Food delicious.
Unfortunately the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.
Helpful staff, convenient to town centre
location for town centre and the venue we were attending
rooms dirty, curtain rail broken in room 4, bottom of divan very dirty, bar very expensive, at breakfast no vegetarian choice despite stating at time of booking one of the party was vegetarian. We are well seasoned travellers and The Grosvenor was one of the worst we have stayed in.
Very nice new management!!
staff were very good and food in restaurant was excellant
place itself was looking tired. we had to leave early (before breakfast) they gave us sandwiches but we threw them away as they were very soggy at not at all appertising.
Great location..huge room and bathroom..a bit dated but would stay again.
No wifi in rooms.
There was a good sized car park, the Staff were polite and helpful, the food was good and we enjoyed the charm of the historic building.
Being mature travellers we found the steep staircase, 3 stories worth, a bit difficult.
Location is quite central and good for Silverstone which was purpose of our trip. It was easy to reach shops and restaurants on foot.
Property has only recently changed owner and badly needs refurbishment. It all seemed a bit chaotic and room could have been cleaner.
Staff very friendly
New management who were very helpful indeed. Hotel has lots of potential. Had good reviews about the food there too.
The room was very clean but a quite uncomfy mattress, no plug for the sink (so don't drop anything!) and lots of hot water but couldn't get the shower to work. Bath was great. So perhaps each room needs a little attention.
I had to ask for toilet paper for room
Made request for decaffinated coffee & sweetener in room.
Hotel has changed hands again & still being refurbished but nothing appears to have been done to improve the hotel. Rooms are still shabby with mismatched furniture. We have stayed regularly at this hotel since 2012 when refurbishments started under previous management but ideally hotel needs to close completely for total refurbishment to a higher standard than currently being done.
Owners are lovely and very helpful. Staff are all very friendly. Was made to feel very welcome. Local to city centre. We would stay again. Food was delicious!
