Staff very pleasant & helpful. Breakfast choices were varied so cater for all. Fresh croissants were provided on request. Room was large with seating area. Was different manager to previous stay who read with interest my comments on the guest questionnaire re the issues in the room. Hotel is still under refurbishment since our last stay in December 2012. Furniture in bedroom was dated & 1 drawer front was missing. 2 light bulbs missing. Plug to basin missing & struggled to get mixer tap to convert from bath to shower. Bed squeaked & mattress caused us to roll in middle.

Large room with good lighting. Comfortable bed. Good storage space in room. Bath as well as shower. Kettle and tea/coffee in room. Friendly, helpful staff. Spacious car park I would have preferred to be given a pot of tea at breakfast rather than having to ask for 2 refills of my cup

Reception hall was attractive and welcoming. Breakfast was fresh but not everything on the menu was available. The double bed was awful, it was hard, uncomfortable and creaked terribly!

The food was really good The bedrooms are very poor - very uncomfortable bed & in fact we asked for a change of room after first night & the second room offered was only marginally better, Its all very tired, dated and in need of some serious refurbishment & TLC & needs to stop trading as gotel to do this - will not go again.

The beds were very comfortable. The location close to town center was excellent with very useful free parking. Free Wi-Fi worked well. Long climb up several flights of stairs to get to room along a bit of a labyrinth of corridors.

Room was spacious- we'd booked a double bed room & got a triple bedded room- see comment re size of double bed. Food was excellent as we ate in the restaurant on 1st night of our stay which was curry night but other food also available. Good choice of hot or cold foods for breakfast & lunch. Hotel is formerly 3 houses converted into hotel so lots of stairs & hallways so bit like a rabbit warren to get to bedrooms. No lift for disabled or mobility impaired customers. Hotel is under refurbishment so would like to see improvements once completed. No decaffeinated coffee or sweeteners supplied in bedrooms but available in restaurant. Double bed was on small side so, as in triple bed room, I slept in single bed during stay.

The hotel has it's own carpark The hotel is dated and the rooms look tired. The lobby and dining room have been modernised but this looks out of place when the rest of the hotel is so run down.

The ' waiter ' at Breakfast was friendly and polite and there is a car park. Everything! Worst Hotel I have been in for ages particularly the Value for Money equation. Room poor, beds poor, TV poor,Decor poor esp in Bathroom. Breakfast poor, service poor. Carpet leading to room disgusting. Girl at reception poor. My perceived value for this would be £40 - £50 max. Very disappointed. You get the immpression nobody cares.

The location was good to both the town center and access to the motorway. The 22inch tv/dvd player worked! There was a selection of room amenities at hand. Before I start, I thought this hotel had a makeover for channel 5!!!....mmmmmmmm suspect! The quality of the room was incredible! Incredibly poor.......the wardrobe leant on the wall at an 30degree angle, the 2 single beds had about 2cms of dust under them and dipped in the middle when you sat on them and almost parted at the base. The area of the hotel that we were in was absolutely red hot due the heating system being on full for over 24hrs and as a result the room was warmer than any sauna ive been in! The window frames were covered in mould as was the wall behind the curtains, and the bathroom.......was a total disaster. The bath panel was hanging off the bath...there were only half the amount of tiles on the floor ander the bath leaving the original flooring open, the sink was literally hanging off the wall, and the wall paint was all bubbled and falling off the wall which resulted in a brown dusty substance dropping onto the floor, which was probably caused by the extracter fan above the toilet not working! The free wifi signal in the building was so week you couldn't even get a stable connection on it let alone get a "bar of strength"!!!!!!!! And lastly the bloke at the service desk did not know if we were even booked in for 1 night, 2 nights, 3 nights or 6 months!!!! Stay away from this health risk of a building!!! There were other bad reviews on this hotel before I booked it but unfortunately had very little choice as leaving the booking late for an event. I won't stay here again and urge others to rent a barn before they consider wasting there money on this.

ease of access to both Rugby town centre and to the family who lived quite local. Service at both reception and dining room was excellent with very friendly staff. A second easy chair would have been nice in the bedroom.

The room was spacious, clean and pleasantly appointed. The staff were eager to please. The in-house restaurant was good and very reasonably priced. The location is the best of all worlds in Rugby: close to the station and the town, yet in a quiet and pleasant residential area.

I have stayed here once before back in January, there were some issue back then. The bathroom is very dated with cracked wash basins. The curtains yet again were hanging off the rail, I had to climb on a chair in order to hang them and gain some privacy. There does not seem to be any attention to detail with random half jugs of orange jiuce and glasses being left at the top of main walkways for customers. The staff are friendly, the food not bad, the room was cleanish and there was plenty of hotel parking for free. Convenient it was, would I recommend to someone else, probably not not I have stayed there again having given them the benefit of the doubt first time. Would I stay there again, no. Food was affordable and OK, the benefit of plenty of free hotel parking was another attraction.
