Staff very helpful. Food delicious.
Unfortunately the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable.
Helpful staff, convenient to town centre
location for town centre and the venue we were attending
rooms dirty, curtain rail broken in room 4, bottom of divan very dirty, bar very expensive, at breakfast no vegetarian choice despite stating at time of booking one of the party was vegetarian. We are well seasoned travellers and The Grosvenor was one of the worst we have stayed in.
Very nice new management!!
staff were very good and food in restaurant was excellant
place itself was looking tired. we had to leave early (before breakfast) they gave us sandwiches but we threw them away as they were very soggy at not at all appertising.
Great location..huge room and bathroom..a bit dated but would stay again.
No wifi in rooms.
There was a good sized car park, the Staff were polite and helpful, the food was good and we enjoyed the charm of the historic building.
Being mature travellers we found the steep staircase, 3 stories worth, a bit difficult.
Location is quite central and good for Silverstone which was purpose of our trip. It was easy to reach shops and restaurants on foot.
Property has only recently changed owner and badly needs refurbishment. It all seemed a bit chaotic and room could have been cleaner.
Staff very friendly
New management who were very helpful indeed. Hotel has lots of potential. Had good reviews about the food there too.
The room was very clean but a quite uncomfy mattress, no plug for the sink (so don't drop anything!) and lots of hot water but couldn't get the shower to work. Bath was great. So perhaps each room needs a little attention.
I had to ask for toilet paper for room
Made request for decaffinated coffee & sweetener in room.
Hotel has changed hands again & still being refurbished but nothing appears to have been done to improve the hotel. Rooms are still shabby with mismatched furniture. We have stayed regularly at this hotel since 2012 when refurbishments started under previous management but ideally hotel needs to close completely for total refurbishment to a higher standard than currently being done.
Owners are lovely and very helpful. Staff are all very friendly. Was made to feel very welcome. Local to city centre. We would stay again. Food was delicious!
The staff were very friendly and keen to make my stay as pleasant as they could. The food, for both dinner and breakfast was very nice and the bar/restaurant area is finished to a high standard. Overall very happy with my stay.
The hotel has recently been taken over and as such the rooms are going through a gradual upgrade process. Whilst the bedroom was nice, the bathroom was dated and in the need of a bit of care.
The Staff were fantastic and worked hard to make my stay as enjoyable as it could be. Forever smiling and willing to help. The hotel had just been purchased by the current owners and they are planning a complete program of refurbishment. That said, it was not in a bad state of repair, or uncomfortable, it was just getting tired around the edges. I have stayed in far worse, for a lot more money!!!
Only staying one night !!!
Hotel is under new management who are visible, committed and friendly. In recent years not the most enjoyable stay but delighted with the approach and attention of the new management team. Clean, comfortable and convenient for visits to Rugby without having to stay out by the M1.
Good location for visiting Rugby. Able to walk into the town centre in minutes.
Only cold water in the morning. Hotel is in need of renovation - the new owners said they had only taken over the hotel that week and they intend to renovate.
State of decor , furnishings , carpet , state of cleanliness ,
Good location, Hotel has a bar and free WIFI, parking facilities.
The breakfast was very poor, and we had to wait 25 minutes for the continental breakfast in the morning, there was only 3 other guests in the restaurant, so was not busy at all.
