It was a filthy hotel, had a bad smell as soon as you entered it, the room smelled bad and was filthy, bathrom had broken floor tiles, broken tiles in the shower, dirty curtains and nets. It was just really bad and I would not recomment it or stay there again.

Convenient to shops and town area, disappointed with hotel after staying at several other hotels in same road. Room was upgraded from twin to triple, could'nt imagine what the twin room would have been like. Overall hotel was a shambles, would'nt recommend or re-visit again, thankfully it was only a weekend stay. Room facilities very poor, no hairdrer, shaving point not working, curtains not secure against window, dirty mirror, extension lead used for TV, kettle, finding this very unsafe. Can't say anything good about this hotel......

The staff were lovely, friendly and attentive. The hotel was old fashioned. The room was small and the furniture falling apart. The bed however, was comfortable and bedding was clean (the only decent point of the room). The bedroom window did not shut properly and banged during the night due to the wind. The bathroom was ramshackle. The shower was ancient and did not work properly, also it leaked and sprayed out of the cubicle leaving the bathroom floor flooded.

For the price the room was what you'd expect, the beds were comfy and although we did not have a shower in our room it was lucky we were able to use our friends in her room. The bed sheets were not very clean, or if they had been cleaned it was clear the same sheets had been used for a couple of years as the stains were not washable. One of the rooms the shelf was not secure to the wall and did come away from the wall at one end which was a little unsafe as a kettle was one of the objects on the shelf.

Nothing... Apparently tv have filmed this hotel as the worst in europe!! I can see why. I thought I would be prepared as I read the reviews... But I can honestly say I was shocked! It should be shut down it is awful!! Everything... When we arrived a group of people were at reception asking for their money back saying they were going to report them to trading standards. They told us the place was disgusting and we should not stay. We had travelling from wales and unfourtunatly as the illuminations was on no other hotels were availble. I could go on and on about the poor hygiene and smell on so on but I am getting wound up just writing this much. I am not a snob as stayed in many basic places before so please be warned... Do not waste your money...it will ruin your break away/holiday... We stayed out as long as possible so not to have to spend any time in this so called hotel.
