We only spent one night at this hotel, but I would not hesitate in returning and recommending it to others, the staff were very helpful, the beds extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was great. We had a strange addition to our bill on our departure and the gentleman on reception could not have been more helpful in getting to the bottom of this addition - and then deleting it. We discovered on our arrival that there was to be a party night that night - it was fully booked, but if we had been told at booking that it was going ahead we would have tried to book into it. A minor niggle. |

Location, services provided at the bar. The hotel is impressive and very warm. Bed size. The King Size I booked as per internet turned out to be double bed. The original room of 306 was changed to 6, perhaps a bigger or smaller bed. |

We have used the hotel for weekend breaks several times in the last couple of years. It is in a great location, a semi rural setting but only a short drive in to chester. The facilities are excellent, great food a beautiful spa area to relax and very clean and well presented rooms. We will continue to visit the hotel in the future. I have already recommended to several of my friends and family. |

The Hotel/Spa was one of the best we have stayed in the UK, Staff very polite & helpful. It was a treat for my husbands birthday & we loved it & would stay here again & tell all our friends & family. |

Hotel lovely, spa area and pool fantastic Breakfast was poor, plenty to choose from but everthing was only lukewarm and very dried up. The treatment we had in the spa was not explained properly and we missed part of it. |

The food in the gastro pub was fantastic and the building was beautiful We went there for a few days before our honeymoon. We were a little disappointed that there was no mention of us being honeymooners, although they were aware. But otherwise the hotel was superb |

Beautiful spa facilities and a nice pool/sauna/Jacizzi area. The bar and restaurant food was great and the staff were more than helpful. A very relaxing place to stay and spend time as a couple together. The room (6) was a little on the small size for what you pay for it and was very hot during the night. We had to leave the window open on the second night. |

The Hotel buildings are lovely. The room was wonderfully comfortable and quiet. The staff are very welcoming and the food is of a good standard. One minor gripe was that the Bill on check-out did not show the discounts as part of the deal-package, I had to query it. Having said that, it was dealt with without quibble. |

Our whole stay was relaxing from checking in to checking out. The staff were exceptionally helpful particularly in Nelson's bar. We only ate at Nelson's as the brasserie was fully booked but the food there was great. The spa area is so tranquil and the gym whilst small was very well equipped. The ambience of the place is warm and cosy for such a large place. Absolutely nothing negative to say. |

we came for the weekend for my wifes birthday the ciro's restaurant was great we ate there both nights the bedroom doors were very noisy so that was annoying because of the banging & also no chair to sit on at the mirror while my wife did hair & make up |
