The hotel has a very relaxing atmosphere. The grounds are well maintained as are the public areas. The food in Ciro's is fantastic if you want something that bit special and the staff very attentive, The food in Nelson bar is very good with plenty of it !! The bedrooms look a bit tired and in need of decorating. On this occasion we decided to upgrade to an 'executive' room, which was rather disappointing as the room turned out to be the exact same 'superior' room we stayed at last June!! |

we enjoyed most of our time at the hotel, unfortunately our room was in a very noisy position by the conservatory and there was a wedding on so we didnt get much sleep!! also the bar was very busy with wedding guests and seemed a little under staffed. also the bath had three hairs in it yuk. i would stay again but would only stay in the quieter part of the hote andpreferably hen there isnt a wedding on. |

The facilities are great, pool lovely Karma area very relaxing. Food very good. Staff very nice. I thought the room price was slightly high for what you got, we paid for a package which included an exclusive room but for the extra money i thought it would have been slightly better, |

We only spent one night at this hotel, but I would not hesitate in returning and recommending it to others, the staff were very helpful, the beds extremely comfortable and the atmosphere was great. We had a strange addition to our bill on our departure and the gentleman on reception could not have been more helpful in getting to the bottom of this addition - and then deleting it. We discovered on our arrival that there was to be a party night that night - it was fully booked, but if we had been told at booking that it was going ahead we would have tried to book into it. A minor niggle. |

Location, services provided at the bar. The hotel is impressive and very warm. Bed size. The King Size I booked as per internet turned out to be double bed. The original room of 306 was changed to 6, perhaps a bigger or smaller bed. |

We have used the hotel for weekend breaks several times in the last couple of years. It is in a great location, a semi rural setting but only a short drive in to chester. The facilities are excellent, great food a beautiful spa area to relax and very clean and well presented rooms. We will continue to visit the hotel in the future. I have already recommended to several of my friends and family. |

Hotel lovely, spa area and pool fantastic Breakfast was poor, plenty to choose from but everthing was only lukewarm and very dried up. The treatment we had in the spa was not explained properly and we missed part of it. |

The food in the gastro pub was fantastic and the building was beautiful We went there for a few days before our honeymoon. We were a little disappointed that there was no mention of us being honeymooners, although they were aware. But otherwise the hotel was superb |

Beautiful spa facilities and a nice pool/sauna/Jacizzi area. The bar and restaurant food was great and the staff were more than helpful. A very relaxing place to stay and spend time as a couple together. The room (6) was a little on the small size for what you pay for it and was very hot during the night. We had to leave the window open on the second night. |

The Hotel buildings are lovely. The room was wonderfully comfortable and quiet. The staff are very welcoming and the food is of a good standard. One minor gripe was that the Bill on check-out did not show the discounts as part of the deal-package, I had to query it. Having said that, it was dealt with without quibble. |
