The hotel service was excellent and we were never shunned when we asked for extra milk- we're big tea drinkers!! I love the swimming pool and swam half an hour each day. Gardens are beautiful and it was easy to get into Chester. Our room was rather small and there was only one armchair. We have stayed in much larger rooms at Travel Lodge and always had comfy seating for two. On our second day there was an uncomfortable amount of noise from our corridor- a lot of shouting and running around presumably young people.

I especially liked the comfort of the bed as so many hotels have awful pillows. The room was airy and bright. Although there was a wedding each day of our stay we still found somewhere to park. Really liked the garden. Staff not always aware that we had arrived for breakfast and left us unattended for some while alongside your 'please wait here' notice.

A lovely hotel with friendly staff. Our room was very noisy despite paying extra to not have the noise. The staff however were very helpful and gave us a discount on our bill as an apology.

reception was excellent and you are made very welcome ,the staff are professional and eager to help,all restaurant and bar areas are tidy and comfortable and there are good selections of beverages.there is very little to criticize. some double rooms are small although ok we were less keen to spend a lot of time in them.

We were there as wedding guests . The reception was excellent .The food ,staff ,room and attention to detail all first class . I would definitely recommend this hotel for both hotel stay and also wedding receptions. The pool and gardens also lovely .

Excellent Hotel, stylishly furnished and very comfortable. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful and the food quality was excellent. The hotel is ideally located for the motorway access whilst being far enough away in the countryside in a village setting. The City of Chester is only ten minutes away and the medieval walled town of Conwy and Llandudno Victorian seaside town just a fifty minute drive along the A55. All in all an excellent choice for a wedding or short break and indeed business in trhe area.

We were put in a room which was above the swimming pool/spa area, the pump for the pool/spa was noisy all night which kept us awake, also the heat from the pool was rising into the room, but we couldnt open the window because of the noise from the pump, hence a sleepness night.
