location, room, conservatory, staff
Food, very poor for standard of hotel. Evening meal was tired, had been hanging around a while and was poor. Breakfast was ok, poor/very limited buffet selection. Scrambled eggs were nice. No gluten free bread which should be and usually is standard now
Convenient. Excellent location. Good parking. Food very good
My bedroom was over the kitchen and conservatory and was noisy up until midnight. One member of staff kept asking if 'is it just you?' As if single travellers are an oddity. It was irritating.
Staff were helpful and efficient, restaurant was good and we had a nice evening meal and breakfast. The room was o.k. But the bathroom was poor. Needs attention.
General standard and hygiene of bathroom, put a dampener on what was otherwise a pleasant stay
Very good location Great beer garden
The walls were very thin so you could hear your neighbours showering Under staffed in the restaurant so food takes a long time in the evening
i loved the location and the food, breakfast excellent and we had one evening meal which was very nice service was good but slow. our room was lovely, nicely decorated staff friendly and helpful but Slow!
i did not like the fact that there was no window or any natural light in our room - fans/ air conditioning noisy at night we had to wait a long time at the bar to get our key every time we went out - the bar staff just ignored us and carried in serving - this was quite frustrating
We had a very comfortable bedroom with lots of space. Our meal was all we wanted for our 36th Anniversary and staff were very friendly and helpful.
very good staff good breakfasts good restaurant
very poor quality toilet paper- bad economics better lighting needed in the seating area for reading
Good restaurant Value of money (compared with other places in St Davids!) Pleasant and helpful staff Nice linen on beds
Room small and in need of refurbishment Beds hard Extractor fan noise from kitchens Noise of banging doors carries
location. situated just outside main hub so way from main crowds.
we came from the ferry and the hotel would not accommodate late arrival.
When we found we had to be at a meeting point at 8am, the same time as breakfast started, the staff arranged for us to have mini fridges and breakfast in our rooms. Didn't need to do that, but was very much appreciated. Great meal in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival.
Not much - very convenient and accommodating.
Location of hotel which had a lovely outside seating area. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Room was dirty, lots of rubbish under bed. Cobwebs and spiders, thick clumps of dust behind radiator. Being asthmatic I am instantly aware if a room is in need of a thorough clean because my symptoms flare up immediately. Couldn't eat in restaurant because they had a block booking and we would have had to have been seated in restaurant by 6.15pm. Breakfast was really good, downside, restaurant walls were spattered with food stains which was rather off putting. Would have expected better considering the price we paid. Limited parking spaces.
The staff we're very friendly and helpful, especially with bags. Room was very comfortable & clean. Food was great.
Took too long to be served dinner, not enough staff.
The whole stay
Bed room was lovely. Hotel feels fresh and new. Food was good. Great location to potter round St Davids.
food and friendly staff
Superb location for coastal path walks
Loved room 3 Good evening meal Super walled garden for pre dinner drinks
Excellent location right in St Davids. Great food. Comfy bed.
Noise from other rooms.
lovely garden bar
although staff were friendly they weren't very organised
Location was excellent with a short walk to St David's and cathedral. Our double room was ok, but a bit on the small side, although it was clean. Weather was superb when we were there and the gardens are great to sit and enjoy an evening drink or meal.
Breakfast was poor, mushrooms and tomatoes were both cold as if they were straight out of fridge. We mentioned it but second morning they were cold again. We never dined there in the evening because of it.
Great location for the cliff path
There was little if anything to dislike, really enjoyed our two day stay...... we will be back!
Did not dislike anything, but just two 'picky' points. With the dark corner in Room 4 for the dressing table, it would be much improved with a light over for ladies as the sink has no space for making up ones face! Would point out that the picture on the wall nearest the window is upside down! That aside everything was great, thank you.
Everything about this hotel is superb. The staff are fantastic. The food unbelievable. The room was lovely and the gardens lovely. Would stop hear again.
Only fault would be, that perhaps they don't clear away the food leftovers on the outside tables, quickly enough and as such one is plagued by Seagulls!
The location was perfect and staff really helpful.
Really noisy - crashing and banging from the kitchen until 11.30pm and the extractor or generator loud all night.
