We had a downstairs room as we were traveling with our dog. This was ideal as we good let the dog out of the room via a door facing a nice big lawn. We would have appreciated some more choice at breakfast. |

We were made to feel very welcome by courteous, helpful and friendly staff. The food was excellent - very talented chef - and our room was very comfortable and clean with lovely modern decor. We have two comments in this respect:- 1. The bathroom extractor fan was extremely noisey. 2. As the room looked out on to the garden, a net curtain at the window would provide some privacy as people walking past looked straight into the room. |

in most part the 2m refurb seems to have been well spent should have spent some money on upgrade and quality of menu covers the sink unit in bathroom not a good selection water comes out at speed and splashes. |

The staff were very freindly, the food was suberb and the furnishings were beautiful. We had a lovely country walk in the near by countryside. It was very hot in the bedroom so had to sleep with the window open but then got cold so woke up often in the night. Some air conditioning would be good.Did not ruin my stay though, I had a lovely time! would definately go back. |

We stayed at Grovefield house w/end 24/Jan/2009. The hotel has had a makeover since we last stayed there and we were very pleasantly surprised at the difference, we had a de luxe double room with breakfast, it was fantastic value for a quality hotel. |

I stay in the Maidenhead area on business on a regular basis so have stayed at The Grovefield a number of times and the rooms are of a good standard, but the hotel itself always seems to be very quiet, which in itself is not a bad thing but sometimes it's nice to have a chat in the bar |

The food was very good and hot. Attention to detail! Although the food was good,I was served the wrong meal. The claim of room service was poor.We was told it was available until 10pm but when we wanted some sandwiches at 9.30pm we told the chef had gone. We therefore could not have what was advertised in the room service menu. |

The rooms were a good sizs The receptionist was requested to clean the bathroom, as this had not been adequately cleaned. The room had not been cleaned when i returned. I was allocated another room at 01:30 hrs, but the wake up call I had requested was not transferred to the new room. I missed a planned breakfast with colleagues. The hotel appeared understaffed. |

The hotel has recently been refurbished and the room I stayed in was decorated to a very high standard, I had room service which was excellent and the bed was very comfy. It was baking hot in the room and corridors and in the morning at breakfast. I had the window open in the room on a cold November night. The bathroom tap was a bit feisty, I had to twist it round quite a few times and the water came shooting out and soaked me. Caught me out every time. |
