Location , Value for money, Comfy beds and nice room.
Grove Lodge is perfectly situated close to High Street and Promenade, and yet next to the public park with bandstand and cafe. Very friendly owner, excellent breakfast, and unlike many establishments plenty of tea, coffee and milk provided in our room!
There was nothing to dislike!
Near to theatres, shops, sea front and pier, room was very clean and well presented with toiletries and tea and coffee making facilities provided. Friendly and helpful service, excellent breakfast provided too!
Was a lovely place to stay.will be going back and recommending to others.
The ease of accessing beach front and centre of town.
The attention to detail in cleaning and minor repairs to fixtures.
The owners were really nice and nothing was too much trouble. The room and beds were comfortable and good value for money. Would go back as pleasant stay.
Anne was very friendly. Breakfast was nice.
Beds not made or room cleaned during stay. Bathroom needs updating.
too much time spent on phones to be able to deal with us. Bathroom needed a good clean. Breakfast was pre ordered on a list which ended up as 1 rasher of bacon 1 sausage half a tomato half a slice of bread for fried bread, I think we were spoilt by the place we spent our previous 3 days in devon.
What a fantastic hotel.Ann and Martin make you feel welcome and are very helpful. Would recommend this hotel to anybody
