Very convenient location. Very hospitable staff. Emaculately clean. Very good breakfast. Good internet connection speed.
Every night, until the early hours, students would go down the street outside, shouting. This is nothing to doing with the hotel, but it does make you wonder when the students actually do their study.
The staff were excellent, they were friendly and efficient. The food was good.
The trek to our room was up stairs, down steps, around corridors and up more stairs.
Mattress was ready for a change.
Went with a large group of friends we were all made to feel very welcome and the breakfast was particularly lovely
Slight slope on the floors but nothing to complain about really
Great location, reception staff very helpful
Rather noisy at night
Central. Easy access to town. Breakfast was very good. Bedding and curtains looked fresh. Staff very pleasant.
The bedoom floor from bathroom to bed Dropped about 2 feet. The carpet was stained, I dropped spoon on the bedroom floor, it was covered in grey hairs ( not ours) when picked up. Very noisy with freshers celebrations until early hours hence the provision of earplugs!
Friendly and helpful staff at Harry's. Comfortable rooms and a good bar with Sky TV, Pool Table and Darts. Very good value for money.
As it was on a main road it could get noisey. However, the hotel provided ear plugs.... Bonus
... The bed !,,
Staff were friendly, room was good value for money and breakfast was delicious :)
Noisy at night because it's a student location
On entering Harry's we were welcomed by pleasant staff the room was amazing good nights sleep the breakfast was yummy and staff were the best we will be revisiting real soo as Harry's is a place you can stay anytime of the year thank you Anita & Nigel Reece
There wasn't anything we didn't like
Four story walk up,no lift.Floor in room slanted 6 degrees down hill in half of room, 2 electrical outlets in whole room,no bathroom vanity, beds had a non existent mattered and pillows, non functional Internet and bad tv service. I don't know any building or safety inspector could allow this place to remain open and open. This would be a bad value at $40 a night let alone $110.A TOTAL DUMP
The tv didnt work. We couldnt get into the room early as requested and okay by email prior to travelling.
overall excellent, great breakfast large comfortable room excellent.words of caution,no lifts and bar used by many students.
Walking distance to both town and University Good breakfast - choice of large or small 'full English' Good value for money Clean and functional
'Full on' pub downstairs - not exactly' homely' View from bedroom was the back yard and bins The wait for breakfast
Staff service very good when dealing with minor issue, food and general surroundings very good. Value for money with a friendly welcome
The room floors do slope which is quirky but also strange, particularly after a drink.
excellent food at a good price.staff very friendly nothing to much trouble.would definetly go back and stay.rooms excellent.
nothing to complain about.
Located in the centre of Aberystwyth, free parking spaces, breakfast was good.
Rooms could use a refurbishment, floors are slightly skewed, noise from the street during the night.
great staff good central location bathroom breakfast bar and bistro
mattresses were a bit lumpy bistro stops serving at 8pm parking difficult
Friendly, helpful staff Very clean Comfortable bed Quiet at night
Sofa in our room had worn out and was very uncomfortable Some ingredients of meals could be of better quality
Comfy bed, lovely breakfast
Rooms too hot
Our younger daughter managed to get herself locked in the bathroom! Staff came to the rescue and were all excellent in a crisis, well done!
Great location, great food, what's not to like!
The location is perfect, right in the middle of town with walking access to lots of restaurants and the castle, etc. Food was good. Staff were friendly.
The bed wasn't level and despite several requests to fix for our second night, nothing was done. Bright coloured lights outside the window were not blocked out by the curtains. Both of which meant that our quality of sleep was not good.
Noise from street (needs double-glazing).
Room and adjoining bath were very spacious. Large windows and abundant natural light. Staff were responsive to room requests i.e., more towels, iron and ironing board. Central location.
No wi-fi connection in the room. According to the front desk it had just stopped working. Instant coffee at breakfast despite a very impressive cappuccino/espresso machine in the adjoining bar? Apparently, it just recently stopped working. A familiar story. Alarmed by the complimentary ear plugs on the bed stands. 2 guests, one set of towels. TV had poor sound quality. Floor had an interesting slant.
