Lovely spacious, clean and tidy ensuite double room, great location - 5 minute walk from Hyde Park, Royal Albert Hall, V&A, Science and Natural History Museums. Good cooked/continental breakfast included. Midday checkout.. Would definitely stay again. |

Excellent location, it was only a two minute walk from the tube station. It was very central for both shopping and going out in the evening. I really felt that I was in the heart of the city centre. |

Comfortable room and pleasant staff Breakfast a bit hectic. Had to wait for five minutes for a hot breakfast plate' No tea, only coffee, in room on arrival. |

We found the location most convenient, the price reasonable, and the service (including breakfast) excellent. This was a second stay, and we plan to return in the future. We noticed some pealing paint on one wall, and told reception to get it fixed promptly. When we arrived, the phones were not operating, but they were quickly back in use.I I I mention this only because something similar occurred last time we stayed at the hotel! |

Staff didn't know the location or speak good English. The bathroom was filthy with brown sludge lying in the bath - too dirty to use. The arms of the chairs in the bar were absolutely disgusting. The very expensive gin and tonic didn't seem to have any gin in it - or else it was watered down. Ghastly place. Would never return. |

Lovely staff, close to tube and sightseeing spots. Continental Breakfast is really an English breakfast buffet, which was a lovely surprise. Free internet with printer in the hotel, you may have to wait in line as there is only one computer, though. I'd recommend this hotel to individuals who are touring and not looking for frills. If your trying to relax in your room after a long day and want to watch a movie forget about it. Local tv is all you get - and only 6 English channels at that. |

Excellent location, close to the Tube, V&A, Albert Hall and Kensington Park. Lovely old Victorian building. Nice neighbourhood. Decorations and furniture are pretty old and dilapidated, the bathroom is coming apart at seams. The room was stuffy despite relatively mild weather, God knows how it would be if it were hot. No free wi-fi in the room!!!! |

Kind staff, though not very knowledgable...Tube station very near (South Kensington)...Very nice breakfast and breakfast room I am asthmatic and it did not help that there are carpets everywhere... |

Excellent breakfast, nice staff, very good location close to museums and underground station, attractive price It's time to make some new investments (furniture, sanitation facilities, bed clothes, etc.) |

I regularly stay in hotels in this area for business for about the same budget and was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of service and rooms I was offered at Grosvenor. The double room was spacious and clean, with tripple glazed windows, so I was not disturbed by the noise from outside, it also had a powerful shower and nice towels. There was a damp smell when you first entered the room but it did not last and was not too strong. |

Location was good for transport links travelling about London Badly chipped yellowing woodwork.Outer pane of window was cracked meaning room was very noisy. noise also from surrounding rooms/creaky floorboards. Bath was marked/chipped and could not operate shower. Stale smell in room |
