Convenient location, very close to tube station, and within a few minutes walk of the museums. 10 minute walk to the Royal Albert Hall. Bed very soft. |

Breakfast dining room was clean and well run. Quality of the food was generally good although squash instead of juice and a machine for coffee/tea let it down and betrayed the "economy" approach of the whole hotel. Didn't sleep at all due to the noise from outside. No ventilation in room so window had to be open but whole place too hot to be comfortable. Small fan was inadequate. Threadbare carpet, paint peeling off the walls, green stuff in the nozzles of the ancient whirlpool bath which you wouldn't think of using. Whole place gave off an air of decay which is a pity given the location and the once classical decor. |

Convenient ground floor room, spacious and comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable. Breakfast room not really adequate for a large number of guests, although we thought the breakfast was excellent and the staff in that room very competent. |

Excellent location, it was only a two minute walk from the tube station. It was very central for both shopping and going out in the evening. I really felt that I was in the heart of the city centre. |
