BEST WESTERN Guide Post Hotel  

I was very comfortable,with my stay.I have stayed at the Guide post before with my husband,but he sadly passed away in February.I always stay at the Guide Post,when I come to visit Bradford, to see my family.I always feel well looked after,and the staff are very nice.

There was nothing I did not like about The Guide Post Hotel

The food was good . It was clean and comfortable. I twas close to where we were working which was very handy considering that it snowed that evening

Bit concerning about the car park as I drove in and found a car had been involved in an incident regarding its windows

Clean, friendly staff, good meals.

Location was good, staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good.

Room was cold when I first arrived

It was convenient for what we had to do in the area. The bar area was great and the first time we came we were with our daughter and son in law who had their two dogs with them and we were allowed to eat in the bar area with them. The dogs are very well behaved and just layed under the table and no-one realised they were there! The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable (apart from the pillows whiich were not!). All the staff were very helpful.

The only complaint we had was that the room was very cold until about 5 when the heating came on. As we had a need to be in our room in the afternoon we found it very cold although we could understand that most people are out during the day and you can't heat all the rooms for one person!

It was clean and confortable and stylish

This is the only hotel we have ever stayed in during the winter , were the heating was on a timer. We returned to our room at 5pm and it was freezing , the temperature outside was 2 degs inside was hardly any warmer . I rang down to reception to ask if they could switch it on and they said they would, but at 7pm it was bareley lukewarm, for this reason I would not recommend anyone to stay there in the winter time.The reception area was very warm but unfortunately the customer rooms were not.

Location was perfect for us as attending service at Holy Trinity, Low Moor

Not used to so much street lighting - found room never really dark

Clean, tidy, good value, nice restaurant etc: a key benefit is having free guest internet access in the foyer.

The hotel is in quite an industrial location, but is very nice inside. Very good location for business in the area, but not really the place for a holiday.

Friendly, accommodating staff took away all the stresses of the working day. Food was simple, well prepared and presented with choices to use the lounge or restaurant.

We were upgraded to a lovely suite as we were celebrating our pearl anniversary. Nreakfast choice was extensive. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and excellent value for money. We would have no hesitation in recommending it.

Staff could appear a little more upbeat and enthusiastic but we did notice that the male receptionist who was working very late on the Sunday covering the bar as well as reception was also on duty very early on Monday morning so must have had very little sleep,
