I did not like at all. Greeting was very nice and very helpful. If the curtains and duverts were pressed nicely, the drawers were lined and the shower facilities were scrubbed, skirting boards wiped and door painted would make a massive appearance difference. Dining room facilities were so poor and again not clean so you did not want to eat there. Towels and sheets were nice and clean/fresh and the staff were very nice. For so little cost the results would be amazing. Good luck for the future though, I really mean that

I am a Health and Safety Consultant. I managed to get some fantastic photos of fire and safety hazards (priceless). You might die if you stay here! The drainage system is interesting, water is recycled via the shower drainage hole, it begins this process as soon as the water is turned on. The shower was therefore unusable. The room was not clean. The tea cups werem encrusted with stains. The heat or smoke detector in our room was covered with Tesco shopping bag ('every little helps,' this does'nt). We avoided breakfast. There are some great places to eat nearby. Absolutely a last resort, book this place only if you have no other option. Shame really as the place has great potential and is ideally situated for easy access to central London.

The smell of Ganja as i walked in was quite cool ! Well, 300 words just isnt enough im afraid. To sum it up succinctly: One wouldnt keep chickens in it. Everyone should experience something like this, just once in your life. Curtains hanging off, door lock didnt work, unclean and very worn out, no shower flow pressure, i had to put towels on the beds to put my clean stuff on, beds were very worn and dirty, bathroom was circa 16th century, even so only probably fitted last year, tv didnt work, windows were noisey and breezy at street level, is nine steps past my room window end to end as i heard every person walking past, all 86 of them through the night... London was full so i had not much choice; i tried sleeping standing up, and levitation but got to cold. Ended up with just sheet and a bath towell wrapped round my head to cut out the noise. All in all a lovely place :(

The Pillow was so hard it it gave me a headache and I had no sleep. The water pressure was so poor that, being on the 4th floor, when I lifted the shower head over my head, the water stopped. I left after 1 night.

Convenient location. Bedrrom on lower level and easy to reach. I stayed on four occasions in two different bedrooms. One had no bedside light but a tv which received bbc1 and other channels. The other had a bedside light but no bbc1. The shower rooms were small all-in-one plastic cubicles. In one, the wash basin was patched. The water was hot. Breakfast was pretty basic. Coffee was obtained making Nescafe at the table and filling the cup with hot-water from a leaking urn on the sideboard.

Handy location for the theatre. Underground station and Euston within easy walking distance. Room was warm. Bed was comfortable. On arrival, there was one member of staff who addressed us wiith his hand down the front of his trousers. The shower was cold when we wanted to use it at 4.00 pm. 2 of the hand towels were dirty

Convenient location Basic facilities, not very appealing. Although the room & ensuite were spotlessly clean the impression was that it was quite seedy - old blankets, poor quality tea/coffee brands, no milk cartons, not enough provided. Any noise from above was disturbing. I would not stay here again.

It's possible to sleep when you're 6 duos like us. You can take the breakfast and eat it in your room. The last day you can let your bagages in the brekfast room. The hotel is calm in a calm street. We thought that the hotel was in center of London and that we could do everything without taking underground but noway. You must take underground and the underground isn't next to the hotel. So for the price we'd better take an hotel farther than this and next to an underground station. The rooms are dirty: under beds there are many objects. We had to put on some "flag" on the floor to hide the dirty and the personnal believed that another person sleep with us they said "we've seen with cameras that you were 7 and not 6" that was wrong and we did'nt loved this wrong accusation. Be crefoul the price isn not in euros it's in pounds

The worst b&b I have ever seen. Disgusting carpet. Mouldy smell everywhere. Poor maintenance. A bathroom that can't really be considered a bathroom.

The location - it is near Euston, Kings Cross and Russel Square It was the worst hotel I have ever used in London. Until nearly the end there was no heating, the window did not shut properly and a tap was drippping. I had to sleep with my cap on and with earplugs. At breakwast there was no real coffee - only Nescafe and very litlle else. The hours for breakfast were very inconvenient 7-9 am.

One man working at the reception desk was very kind and showed genuine care when we checked out early (after only one night) and was keen to know what was wrong and expressed his wish that he could refund our payment. Not at all worth the money it cost. Room was filthy - bandaid on the floor, hair all through the bed. Clear lack of housekeeping. Very disappointing.

“The staff at Crestfield were absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was small as are all London hotels that are affordable, but I didn't mind it at all. The best part of staying at the Crestfield Hotel is the location. It is a block away from the King's Cross tube stop, which is in the heart of the city. Also, the Pancras International train station is there as well, making easy to grab a train to France/Belgium and the rest of Europe. Can't beat it!” Tony, Studio City |
