Convenient location

Basic facilities, not very appealing. Although the room & ensuite were spotlessly clean the impression was that it was quite seedy - old blankets, poor quality tea/coffee brands, no milk cartons, not enough provided. Any noise from above was disturbing. I would not stay here again.

Service and cleaness definitely below standard

When I woke up in the morning the shower had filled up with matted hair, that smelt absolutely rancid!! Dust everywhere! I didn't like the fact that there wasn't a chain or second lock on the door, as a female staying alone. Staff response to the complaint about the shower was poor.

The guest house was run down, smelly and no staff around. The television did not work. The shower/toilette was very basic and you could hear noise from other toilettes. The carpets and curtains never saw a wash. Just 2 very bad pillows. At breakfast, the food was taken away at precisely 9am, even though the guest were still having breakfast. Will not be back to this guest house.

It was a basic hotel. Was within walking distance of where I needed to be.excellent sheets and towels.the staff on the reception desk were friendly and helpfull.

The bathroom was very tiny I felt like I was in a cupboard!i am only a size 12 and found it almost impossible to shower .the sheets and towels were immaculate but spoiled by a stained dirty bed cover which was very off putting.

Reasonable budget solution.

The hotel was in a really good location, easy to walk around central london so saved a lot of money on transport. The room was fine considering the price, the beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed.

The staff were not particularly friendly but at the same time were not rude so this was not really an issue. The only real problem was the heating, it was on ridiculously high. We only stayed one night otherwise we would have complained but considering there was still some snow outside it was a bit random to need to sleep with the windows open!

I can safely say that I liked nothing about this hotel.

This hotel was disgustingly dirty; we were charged on our credit card without being told, before we'd even see the rooms; there was dirty laundry outside the rooms; a joining door was propped open with a dirty wet towel; the corridor was dank, dark, foul-smelling; do not stay here. When we complained we were told to "lower our expectations"... At your own peril (and waste of money) should anyone book here.

I needed a hotel near to Holborn.

There is nothing much to like in this place.

Was put in the b&b next door (nr 4), don't know if nr 6 is better. everything a bit shabby; room not clean; shower, toilet and sink all on less than 1 sq meter (literally); no hot water; no adequate heating in room; single glazing and very noisy street; worn bed matress, dirty blankets, very hard cussions; bad reception on tv; no bed lamp need i go on? all in all very poor value for money

The room was cold and draughty with an ill fitting window. An additional heater in the room caught fire and generally the hotel seems unsafe. The breakfast is poor and served in a cold room the internet access was ok

It was suitable for the purpose which was over night stay (work had a function just down the road to hotel).

Would have like if they had english breakfast as opposed to continental. Had to have breakfast at a cafe near by, apart from that it was good for the price we paid
