Cannot fault the staff
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and always happy to help. The hotel was perfectly geared for children and had everything we needed. The staff went that extra mile to make our New Year stay an excellent one.
Room was very large and the bunk beds were at the end of the room so meant parents could still watch tv after kids had gone to bed. Each bunk bed had its own tv too. Right by entrance to theme park so very easy. Hotel quite basic but perfect for a break with the kids.
Remote control for tv was missing, breakfast in hotel was very basic (tea toast and cereal) as was the evening meal (limited to about6 choices) although there are other places nearby I think you can eat. Water temperature was very hot and made it hard to bath kids. This may just have been our room, however!
the hotel was geared towards children rather than adults so the atmosphere was a lot more relaxed
there was nothing i could fault
He lived his tree house bed. I loved that it kept my son busy with the TV so you could still have some adult time.
Car park not lit enough at night i was scared coming in from car
Size of room. Size of bed.
The room was cold on arrival and the heater was complicated to operate. We needed to ask for assistance, which required 2 members of staff, 2 calls to reception and an hour wait. Dirty towels were left in the bathroom. There was no remote control for the TV, we had to ask for one. There were only 3 tissues in the tissue box. There was a full bottle of hair conditioner in the bathroom and an empty bottle of shampoo.
The staff mostly were lovely
Toilets-no paper, two empty tissue boxes, very full bin, despite supposedly being checked 20 mins before?? Also silicone horrid and mouldy, empty handwash and although full the lotion top was slimy. Room was good, but again silicone in bathroom mouldy!!, arranged for birthday banners and sweet trays in the room but these wernt there even tho I'd paid for them, had to go and get them from reception. Told to go for breakfast on the park as things had changed, got coats on walked over to the park only to be told breakfast was in the hotel!! No apologies from staff. Been sometimes twice a year as birthday treats since hotel opened, so can notice the difference. No entertainment in the evening, just a film put onto a wall via projector (wires!!!). Feel sad i wont be back again as we have had lots of happy memories.
The staff were lovely but they are hampered by a terrible disorganisation . They kindly upgraded our room but because of that there was no housekeeping service at all because they didn't update it .
Housekeeping non-existant and the first day when they did clean the room they did it terribly
Hotel was great, staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely get away.
having to leave the comfy bed
Too many choices for breakfast
Water doesn't go down quick enough when having shower
Warm friendly welcome, prompt check in. Lovely large room. Good TV with lots of channels. Very clean & very comfy bed. Light sleeper, so really quiet room & quiet location much appreciated.
Wifi poor in my room.
Big quiet room Bunk beds with dvd for children was great fun Sweeties and juice provided as extra in room Discount for entry into gullivers world Able to eat in room at no extra cosy
Kids made most welcome facilities brilliant
We were put in a disabled room and were told no other rooms available we had two under 5s and no bath only a wet room with emergency buzzer and cords which they accidentally pressed and the tiles and fold down seat in the wet room were rusty and in need of a make over!
been here several times now with my 4 year old and also as a group with young children. lovely hotel, staff are brilliant and the kids always love it. twice as well now I have only booked for one night and ended up staying another. :)
fantastic manager & room was superb when cleaned and sorted out
walking into room after check in at 18.30 to find room had not been cleaned.sheets and duvets on floor ,dirty pots on cabinets and bathroom not cleaned
superb facility for a family break
The staff where amazing with the children. Our room was big enough for our bed, a travel cot, another single bed and there was still room to move around. The DVD player in the room was a lovely homely touch. The food in the hotel was delicious and the service was great even though it was busy.
The lift was a bit awkward as only one person and a child could get in.
The room was attractive and comfotable and smelled lovely
The room (123) was next to the entrance and quite noisy all night. The wifi wasn't good at all.
PLAY ROOM+ OUTSIDE SLIDE AREA
COLD BREAKFAST NO SUPPER IN HOTEL HAD TO GO OUT
Food was good.
Would've liked to have been made aware that items in fridge were complimentary Could've done with vegetables on dinner menu instead of just salad.
The car park
Room was not cleaned properly, shower tray filled with water and leaked all over floor, wi-fi signal dire - connection weak and drops continuously, food quality poor and badly presented and finally room keys not working so had to ask a member of staff to let me in each time - I would NOT recommend
The friendly helpful staff, the free wi fi in all areas and good choice of breakfast items ( which the is included in the price) but not mentioned on the web site. Reasonable prices at the hotel bar
Entry price into the park.
Friendliness of the staff and how clean the rooms were. Kids loved the play room
The sausage at breakfast were horrific and no fried eggs as a breakfast option is like not having a fish for a fish supper. With no sausage my only options was microwaved scrambled egg bacon and beans
Right onside for gullivers so you can walk right to the hotel. Good hotel rooms, comfy beds
Breakfast and menu options for evening were not great. Premier inn is better for food and cheaper
